I understand what they mean. Democrats long ago wanted to lock in 12 percent of the vote so they made up a rule that authentic blacks cannot vote republican. Ergo, Mia Love, a republican, can not possibly be authentically black. She doesn’t look Asian, so she must be white. And so what kind of privilege does this woman enjoy? White privilege!

Darron Smith appears to be a very disturbed human being. This screed is a perfect example of the inability of the Left to deal with people outside some class they've shoehorned them into:

“Love’s political convictions show a strong support for values that do not necessarily represent her interests as a member in any of these oppressed groups,” Smith writes.

What of her interest as an American? Her interest as a free citizen? A taxpayer?

Smith's real problem is that he simply cannot imagine a Republican who is not a racist oppressor and so cannot imagine a Republican candidate who is not imbued with the same sickness no matter what her sex or the color of her skin. The price paid for swallowing that narrative is a permanent commitment to ignorance, and Smith is fully committed.

I think what really bothers liberals about that particular election result is that Mia Love was a black woman who won in a district that is nearly 100% white. White conservatives are more likely to elect black candidates than white liberals are -- which is why almost every black Democrat in Congress represents a district that has been gerrymandered to give it a black majority.

Anyone can enjoy “White Privilege.” It’s a cultural thing. Probably most of the thugs at HuffandPuff Post enjoy white privilege, and why shouldn’t they? To suggest that Mia Love, or any black person shouldn’t be able to have or enjoy white privilege, is racist. Black people who don’t reject an education, civility, good behavior and manners, as opposed to gangsta’ culture, hate, self pity, racial insecurity and violence are welcome to share in white privilege.
