Pillars of a Renewed Majority
Speaker of the House site ^ | 11/9/2014 | John A. Boehner

Posted on 11/09/2014 8:24:06 AM PST by MV=PY

Over the last four years, the House has served as an outpost in Washington for the people’s priorities. With a renewed majority, we renew that mission, and pledge to focus on good-paying jobs and an economy strong enough to help keep the American Dream alive and well. To do this, we need a plan, and in conversations with people in my district and around the country, I have identified five things we need to do to harness America’s energy boom and reset the foundation of our economy:

So how come the House voted to fund Obamacare?

I have a list of DO NOT for the GOP that is far more important:

- don't even think about amnesty.
- don't even think about increasing spending because the King wants it.
- don't even think about 'reaching across the aisle.'
- (senate)don't even think about approving any progressives to any position of power.

Sounds great, John.

What kind of legislation have you advanced that furthers those goals?

Give us something to work with. Help us help you.

Dear Republicans:

Congratulations on your recent win over your “good friends on the other side of the aisle” last Tuesday. You ran a very wise and crafty campaign. Basically, you said that you weren’t Obama. There was no talk of repealing ObamaCare, securing the borders, banning travel from Ebola-spawning nations in Africa, reducing the national debt, cutting spending, or anything else those of us in the Tea Party movement would like to see. You won because America finally realized Obama and the Democrats are an existential threat to America. We hope you don’t overlook the fact that millions of Tea Party conservatives held our nose to reelect the same lifelong congressional Republicans who have done nothing to solve any of our problems or fight to stop Obama’s destruction of our nation.

We in the Tea Party realize you in the Republican Elite hate us. We “hobbits” have heard you say publicly we are “bullies” who need a punch in the nose.” The man who wants to punch us in the nose was last week begging for our votes.

In Mississippi, your actions were nothing less than despicable. To save the geriatric hide of lifelong politician Thad Cochran, you ran ads on black radio stations telling gullible black voters that those who supported Chris McDaniel were “Nazis, KKK members, and racists.” We’ve heard those accusations before? We’ve heard them everyday since the Tea Party inception in 2009 from Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Charles Schumer, Charlie Rangel, Elijah Cummings and their ilk in the mainstream propaganda media. Congratulations! Cochran won and will continue to vote for every debt limit increase, continuing resolution, and pork package you throw his way. He admitted to screwing farm animals in his youth. Now he screws the American taxpayer.

You despise the Tea Party because we dare demand Congress exercises fiscal responsibility. You see yourselves as kings and our ruling elite who cannot be bothered by the unwashed hoi polloi. You only want our votes every two years. We know that. But the times they are a changing.

The Tea Party has a difficult time distinguishing Republicans from Democrats these days in Washington. And when a true conservative like Ted Cruz has the cojones to do something to stop the legislative madness you and your friends on the other side of the aisle have created, you do everything possible to stop him!

The Tea Party is tired of voting for the less worse candidate. You have received the Tea Party vote in the past because you were marginally less evil than Democrats. Now we can’t say if that is true after watching you use the same despicable tactics to defeat Tea Party conservatives in the primaries. That is coming to an end. So are our loyal votes.

Many Tea Party conservatives voted Libertarian in the general election. Many have publicly declared, AWD included, that we will no longer support big-government, moderate Republican puppet candidates. I will not vote for Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Chris Christie, or any of the other Democrat-lites you wish to serve up as the latest cannon-fodder for the Democrats in 2016.

You won big last Tuesday. It could be your last victory ever. We are closely watching every move you make to take down Obama and his minions who have run roughshod over our Constitution and YOU! We do not seek bi-partisanship. We do not want you to compromise with the Democrats or Obama. The only reason we want you to reach across the aisle is to grab Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or any of the other socialist by the throat and squeeze. If you “go along to get along,” the Tea Party will not support the Republican Party any further. You have counted on our vote in the past because we had no other options. That is changing.

We have replaced many old RINO geriatrics in Congress with fiscal bulldogs dedicated in bringing sanity to Washington. We are growing. We are learning. We are getting better at funding and campaigning. We are dedicated. Yes, you have all the corrupt corporate and Chamber of Commerce money but you are old and dying out. Our new leaders are young and have fresh ideas to repair the damage you and the Democrats have done to America for generations. And they have our full backing.

If there was ever a time to eat your Wheaties, now is the time, Republicans. We expect you to be bold and uncompromising. How can you negotiate with communists? How do you negotiate with a murderer? Negotiate that he will only make you a paraplegic but spare your life? The Democrats are murderers. Killers of individual freedoms, national wealth, military strength, and fiscal sanity! You must kill them before they kill all of us!

Quite bluntly, Republican Establishment, I despise you. I have had to count on you. And you have failed in nearly every instance. You have no more chances to make it right with the conservative base of your Party. It’s show time. Do something big and dramatic. Grow a pair and do something good for those who pay the bills in America. The moochers have had their time. It’s OUR time now.

You were not elected last Tuesday because we like you. You were elected because we fully realize the danger to our existence Obama presents. We are not prepared to stand idly by any longer while he “fundamentally changes” America into a third-world hellhole as you have done. We are patriotic, determined, and many. And we will fight and, if necessary, die to protect the Constitution. And you better believe we fully understand why the Founders gave us the Second Amendment.

Republican Establishment, you are on notice. Do the right thing or be gone. Our patience is up. We cannot wait any longer. We will not believe your promises or contracts with us. We will monitor your actions and act accordingly.

Samuel Adams saw this over 200 years ago when he said:

The liberties of our Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have receiv’d them as a fair Inheritance from our worthy Ancestors: They purchas’d them for us with toil and danger and expence of treasure and blood; and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle; or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. Of the latter we are in most danger at present: Let us therefore be aware of it. Let us contemplate our forefathers and posterity; and resolve to maintain the rights bequeath’d to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. — Instead of sitting down satisfied with the efforts we have already made, which is the wish of our enemies, the necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that “if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.” It is a very serious consideration, which should deeply impress our minds, that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event.

And never forget the words he spoke from the Pennsylvania State House:

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom – go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

We are watching! You are officially on notice.

And if Mitch McConnell wants to punch this Tea Partier in the nose, he better bring friends and his lunch!

•Fix our tax code so that we can bring jobs home and families can plan for the future.

Fine. What's the name of that legislation? What's the number you gave it? It should start with an "HR" if I'm not mistaken.

So how come the House voted to fund Obamacare?

I'm afraid the BoneHead will continue to support big government while talking like a Tea Party guy.

Here are a few things he can do:

1. Repeal Obamacare

2. Repeal Sarbanes Oxley

3. Eliminate the EPA

4. Eliminate OSHA

5. Eliminate the IRS

6. Privatize Social Security

7. Eliminate the Corporate Income tax

8. Eliminate the Department of Education

9. Have every law passed by congress point to the constitutional authority to pass that law

10. Repeal McCain Fiengold

11. Require voter ID

12. Secure the borders

Just for starters

One would think, the way politicians keep bringing it up and trying to pass it, that amnesty would be at the top of the list.

In scanning the document, I didn’t even see amnesty, illegals, immigration, border security mentioned.

Where's the apart about decreasing the size and scope of government?

Where's the part about taking power away from unelected bureaucrats and "Czars"? What is this? Pre-revolutionary Russia?

Oh. Crap. Did I just stumble across a reality?

The voters want the Pubbies to compromise with Obama — the newsies said so.

[lol]

I actually like your list more than Boehner’s list.

On another thread on the subject of what the Speaker should do, a question was posed and then re-phrased as follows: Freeper Texas Eagle questioned: "Why isn't he out there educating the American people, especially those who didn't vote, that Obama has no Constiutional authority to make law."
Paraphrasing the question posed above:

"Why isn't he (Boehner) out there educating the American people, especially those who didn't vote, that under "the People's" Constitution, a President (not even Obama) has Constitutional authority to "make law"?

This is the question to which every newly-elected and/or "conservative" Republican should be dedicating their primary energy!

"Educating" all citizens in the meaning and purpose of "the People's" Constitution's provisions and requirement for dividing, separating the powers, and checking and balancing those powers in order to curb coercive intrusions into the rights of individuals and states was and is essential to liberty and freedom for present and future generations.

"Although all men are born free, slavery has been the general lot of the human race. Ignorant—they have been cheated; asleep—they have been surprised; divided—the yoke has been forced upon them. But what is the lesson? ... the people ought to be enlightened, to be awakened, to be united, that after establishing a government, they should watch over it ... It is universally admitted that a well-instructed people alone can be permanently free."

He can talk all he wants and say anything.

But it is clear that massive amnesty is his first priority along with silencing conservatives.

No word of building THE fence?
No word of stripping illegals of all benefits in the US?
No word of enforcing current immigration law by making illegals return home and start over ... legally!
No word of repealing (no)ØbamaCare?
No word of severely restraining the EPA, Dept of Education, IRS, etc?
No word of passing Ketstone Pipeline?
Yeah, I got your plan Boehner, right here.

BUMP!

Nothing about a flat tax or the Fair Tax.

Nothing about abolishing Common Core.

Words, words, words.

It would be interesting to put this document on the shelf and grade Boehner in a year or so. Bet he doesn’t accomplish 5% of the goals stated here.

It’s time to change the words into the rule of the land.

It is a first step. I think it is missing some of the more bold steps and solutions that are needed to save the country, literally, even if they are more difficult to achieve. The huge Republican win this last Tuesday was not an invitation for the Republican leadership to take the easy path, however. We don’t have a lot of time left to remake America into a beacon of prosperity and hope again. Tick-tock.

Boehner’s ideas are bureaucratic. Here is what he needs to tell America:

In one month the North-American Pipeline will be approved.

In two months we will reduce all personal income taxes and eliminate corporate taxes.

In four months the law for lawsuits will be “Loser Pays all costs”

In six months corporate profits now being held overseas will be tax free money for investment if returned to US banks before December 2015 and not invested or reinvested off-shore.

In eight months the Affordable Care Act will be repealed and replace by voluntary health insurance policies competitive NATIONALLY.

Hmmm. Not one word about Obamacare, which I understand was THE number one issue in this election. Not one word about securing borders and stopping Obozo’s amnesty.

I notice that in your reply, you used definitive, declarative words such as, ‘repeal, eliminate, privatize, require, and, secure’.

Those terms indicate a concrete stance, as opposed to the terms Boehner used, i.e., ‘fix, solve, reform, and, improve’ - which are all weasel words that indicate a squishy stance with a getaway car waiting just offstage.
