In particular, there is a disconcerting statistic: "80 percent of the acts of religious persecution in the world are directed against Christians." How many victims? The Center for the Study of Global Christianity brings the average of one hundred thousand Christians killed each year for their faith throughout the last decade. An average of five Christians every minute.
Five hundred thousand Christians have already left Syria.

All candidates for any office should be asked if they believe Islam is a violent religion.
Anyone that says anything but “yes” should be removed from consideration.
Pogrom, heal thyself.

Driven out by McCain’s and Lindsey Graham’s anti Assad buddies. At least the refugees are the lucky ones ... they were not sold into sexual slavery or tortured and murdered.
We have 54 million reported surgical abortions in this country. We cannot truthfully claim moral superiority by stating that we would like it to be less. I think I’d win any debate on that
And the West has turned their back on Mideast and African persecuted Christians. Maybe a few Christian churches pray for them. Our church does every Sunday. Is it because everyone is afraid of Islam and doesn’t want to “offend” the people of Islam by speaking out against them for what they are doing?
Prayer for Peace in Syria
God of Compassion,
Hear the cries of the people of Syria,
Bring healing to those suffering from the violence,
Bring comfort to those mourning the dead,
Strengthen Syria’s neighbors in their care and welcome for refugees,
Convert the hearts of those who have taken up arms,
And protect those committed to peace.
God of Hope,
Inspire leaders to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with enemies,
Inspire the Church around the world with compassion for the people of Syria,
And give us hope for a future of peace built on justice for all.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace and Light of the World,
Amen.
From Anonymous:
Father God, Our Savior and King,
We come to You in despair over the evil being done to our Middle East Christian brothers and sisters. We ask that You would put Your hand of protection upon them and that You would sustain them as You did the Israelites in the desert. Lord, cause our brothers and sisters to cry out to You for help and show them the peace that only You can give in answer to their needs. In their darkest moments, Lord, keep them, strengthen them, and comfort them. When they despair that no one is coming to help them, Lord, reveal Your glory and restore their souls.
We ask you these things in the blessed name of Your precious son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
George W Bush said islam is a peaceful religion. W was a naive fool and his actions in the ME have exacerbated all this persecution.
How can our talking heads and politicians still maintain that Islam is a ROP?
That by itself should be a reason for people to doubt the sanity of their leaders and the press.
Their fictional worldview depends on it.
I appreciate you spending the time to put together that post.
