The US military has drawn up plans to significantly increase the number of American forces in Iraq, which now total around 1,400, as Washington seeks to bolster Iraqi forces battling the Islamic State, US officials told Reuters on Friday.

The US aims to help advise and train Iraqi and Kurdish forces battling Islamic State fighters who swept into much of northern Iraq.

This is a mistake. Just bomb them at strategic times. Why is America getting its nose in another costly war?

Obama created ISIS. Why would he battle ISIS? There is an ulterior motive for him doing what he is doing.

President Obama is sending 1,500 more troops into Iraq to “train” the Iraqi troops (good luck with that!). But Obama being Obama, how do you think he will mess this one up?

a) He will put the soldiers under UN command

b) The troops will be primarily drawn from releasees from Guantanamo Bay

c) On the way the troops will spend a night in Liberia for a fine evening of dining and dancing

d) Obama will send his special transgendered paratrooper brigade.

e) Something else

“....There is an ulterior motive for him doing what he is doing.”

The article doesn’t say anything about what support equipment is going there with the military does it.

I’d suppose there will be considerable equipment going along to the Iraqi’s, and the Kurds to replace what ISIS took from them so after our military under R.O.E. requiring them to return fire only after being killed can be relieved of the equipment by ISIS once again.

That’s his ulterior motive. Deplete our military, and give more equipment, and ammo to his Moozie buddies.

“BOOTS ON THE GROUND.”

That is one thing we certainly weren’t going to hear before the elections.

Because the only reason ISIS exists in the first place is because Obama didn’t leave any troops there to secure what we had won the first time. Just bombing them won’t be sufficient to get rid of them.

And, instead of rotating them stateside between missions/deployments, he will just swap them with those already on that side of the globe doing the Ebola duty...

That’s right. Take VietNam for example...
