Pubbie nuke?

LOL

Yeah, right. Like that will EVER happen.

Majority Leader Frist McConnell would never do that, because it would upset the Democrats.

==

Look for Reid and crew to vote out that filibuster change they made. Probably in the latter hours of the lame duck session. Reid would not leave that 'weapon' in place for McConnell and the new Senate, because he knows McConnell and crew don't have the cajones to vote it or similar changes back in.

The dems are in a bind. All the things Obama will not give on, like Keystone, are going to kill them down the road if they don’t work around him with the Republicans.

GOPe Uniparty OP’s and nuking? Don’t think so.

Constitutionalists/T.E.A. Partiers have to nuke the GOPe first.

If the courts continue to uphold the ruling that the Federal Exchange cannot offer subsidies then Obamacare will lose it’s major drawing card. All the GOP has to do then is simply obey the law (yes, a new concept) and de-fund that aspect of Obamacare. That will be a big step.
More precisely, the GOP just needs to not do anything legislatively to fix it. And, in so doing, the court's interpretation of the law stands and the Federal Exchange will be unable to offer subsidies. This will, in effect, de-fund a major aspect of Obamacare.

I think that is more clear, no?

That’s exactly what is gonna happen. I want the Rs to put all those bills up for a vote and tie those communists to Obola. Come 2016 Obola will be more toxic than GWB was in 2008. I so look forward to 2016 and Ted Cruz

The ACA repeal legislation will never pass.

That beast has to be eaten by one bite at a time. The House and Senate need to just shred Obamacare via separate bills that strip away bits and pieces, and will probably have to make them riders to bills Obama will have to sign.

Put all of it up for a vote. 2016 they are going down.

Keystone is easy, I think. There are several ways the GOP can get what they want by working out a deal with Obama. The best way for Obama is giving him cover with throwing him a bone by doing a compromise on one or two other things where Keystone gets lost in the news cycle. He doesn't care about Keystone one way or the other, and would very much prefer never to be asked about it again. The other way he could do it is by scheduling a foreign trip and be out of the country for 10 days after Congress passes it. He can stomp his feet for cover but just not return in time to veto it.

How will Republicans get even 51 votes with disguised Democrat senators like Mark Kirk, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski on “our side?”

54 minus those 3 equal 51.

pray that Hillary Clinton isn’t the one sitting in the White House.

Her physical appearance (regarding being unhealthy) and recent speech indications of early senility make me believe that she will NOT be running. The campaign trail requires a lot of energy from the candidate, with much travel and constant appearances/meetings. She can’t handle that!

Let’s get the Democrats on the record re: Obamacare. My guess is they will abandon it after seeing what happened Tuesday

If they did that and repealed the mandate Obamacare would be history. I think they know it and that is why they won’t do it. It’s all politics. If they did it they would lose it as a campaign issue.
Either that or they want Obamacare to stay. Pick your poison.

Unfortunately elected Republicans always want to show they are nice people and won’t use the same tactics that the dims use.

I heard PA Senator Pat Toomey today on local radio basically saying precisely that. He was asked if they would keep the nuclear option rules and he said "well I think we need to show that we're better .... blah blah blah." They will reverse Reid's destructive rule change and predictably, he will bludgeon them with it.
