Election returns from the Georgia Senate and gubernatorial contests will be closely watched tonight for what they might tell us about race, region and politics in the age of Obama.
Democrats are hoping for evidence of a demographic realignment they could benefit from -- if not now, then perhaps in the coming years. And Republicans are looking to hold firm, maintaining their firewall among Southern white voters who have grown more and more Republican in recent years.

That's an extremely low bar. Even so, I'm skeptical. I doubt he holds a candle to any NYC mayor ever, including Dinkins and DeBlasio. Besides, he's belaboring the obvious about Ferguson.
Dinkins was the worst. DeBlasio has time to prove that he worse.

I’m really just *done* with this nonsense. If anyone brings up Ferguson as a problem regarding police actions, they’re going to get an earful from me, and race sensitivity be damned. And I’m very critical when police misbehave. All indications are this case isn’t one.

Without question. It was a comparative statement. Compared to Shirley Franklin, Bill Campbell, and Maynard Jackson, Kasim Reed is Ronald Reagan.
The point of the post was to point out that an African-American Democrat Mayor called out the Democrat Party and their lily-white Senatorial candidate for playing the race card. It indicates that the tide may be shifting our way.
And that shows blacks ONLY care about race. 0 deserves the same amount of respect that I have for dog squeeze on my shoe. He is an arrogant narcissistic incompetent ass. He's good at appealing to those who want something for nothing (ie looting it from their fellow citizens), but in terms of foreign relations he's a laughing stock. In terms of understanding the economics of the country his comprehensions approaches but doesn't exceed that of a second grader. There isn't anything that he's done that has been good for the country, BUT THE BLACKS STILL WORSHIP THE SH!T THAT SQUIRTS OUT OF HIS MOUTH. So race is't the most important thing to them it's the ONLY thing.
Relative to what? If you mean he hasn't been caught taking bribes yet or doesn't have immediate family members in prison for felonies, I guess that might count, but he's hoplessly and intentionally stuck in racial politics.
