Liberals would love to declare Obama to be dictator for life and disband Congress.

Sooner or later folks are going to believe my constant ranting that your typical lib arts professor is no more of an intellectual than Slow Joe Biden.

Exceptions there are, but those are increasingly rare.

Standards? Our universities don’t need no stinkin’ standards.

“Midterm”? When did we start referring to some elections as “midterms”? What it does is define important congressional elections relative to the President. This sets the President up as some sort of supreme leader. Congress is a co-equal branch. It is not all about the President/tyrant. Or at least it shouldn’t be.

They are headed for the toilet as a reward for lying about and holding back information on the fearless leader before the election and supporting his a##anine agenda throughout. Hang on I need to flush the toilet a few times becuase it’s one of the regulations that were put into effect that governs water usage and the new crappy toilets we are forced to endure. Enjoy the ride down the sh#tter

ABCCBSNBC *has* cancelled the midterms. They refuse to report on them, to keep the sheep unaware of them.

Funny the MSM was always real interested in the midterms until the TEA party was born in 2010.

And with Ted Cruz about to be the leader of the free world, they’ll advocating cancelling the general election!

I’ve long argued that the left despises the Constitution and would love to install a wise individusl(s) to guide us all.

Be careful for what you wish for. This is stupid talk; cancelling elections would lead to a civil war and the leftist professors would be one of the first idiots to a big dose of lead.

I’ve long argued that the left despises the Constitution and would love to install a wise individual(s) to guide us all.

No question about it. The masses are clearly not up to the task of exercising power even through the franchise, so they need a leader or group of leaders to manage the state for them. They even have a name ready and waiting for these benevolent rulers--"Vanguard of the Proletariat."

Why not have the “President” appoint the members of Congress.

And the Governors of all the States.

It’s “for the children.”

That one got the thrashing it deserved on FR that day. I blame the lack of Civics classes in high school. The basic premise of this argument translates to “Once we’ve won the Presidency we should be allowed to do whatever we want, and anything that gets in the way is bad.” The lack of Civics classes is not what produced adults who believe this, but it is responsible for professors who do.
