"Girls" star and creator Lena Dunham has garnered a lot of praise and publicity for her role as a campus sexual assault activist, and yet she has thus far done nothing to protect other women from the man she claims sexually assaulted her on campus.
In her just released memoir, the 28-year-old Dunham alleges that when she was a 19-year-old Oberlin College student, a "mustachioed campus Republican" named Barry raped her on Oberlin College property. Dunham also claims that she heard stories of Barry hurting two other women. One woman was "punched in the boobs" at a party. Another was left with a "blood-spattered wall" after a consensual sexual encounter.
Although numerous studies show that Dunham's alleged attacker has and is almost certain to hurt other women, it appears as though everyone but Dunham is taking seriously their responsibility to get Barry off the street.
Earlier this week, Breitbart News spoke with an official at Oberlin College. Marjorie Burton, Director of Safety and Security, told us that based on news reports of the incident, the college has filed an "official report."An investigation, however, cannot go forward unless Dunham "wants to go forward."
Breitbart News also spoke with the Oberlin Police Department. Although per school policy Oberlin College has made them aware of Dunham's allegations, according Lt. Mike McCloskey, the Department's Public Information Officer, "If the victim doesn't come forward and cooperate, criminal charges are impossible to file."

Pity nobody was around to protect Grace Dunham from Lena back when they were kids, never mind all of the Dunham’s kids from those sick parents.
The person may exist, but I’d bet she’s making the ‘rape’ part up for drama. The Lib version of Taquiya. Of course, after hearing how she treated her younger sister, I have to ask, Who was raping whom?

Is Grace estranged from Lena? If so, it lends credence to Grace’s accusations.

No, Lena admitted this in her book. She and Grace seem to be on good terms, funny enough. Grace is a lesbian.
It wasn’t that long ago. Surely, someone could ID ‘Barry’ or point him out in an annual.
Where is the Republican ‘ s club in all this? If they have no former member named Barry from that time frame of her ‘’’’’’rape’’’’’, I hope they say something.

I think unless Grace does make a break from her sister, Grace will never learn and grow and become healthy.
Sounds to me like Lena’s career is about to start unraveling. Unless she ‘finds’ her ‘attacker’ she’s going to end up with nothing and a discredited (long overdue) rep and become the figure of ridicule she so richly deserves to be.
They must invent things to confirm their worldview. Feminists are like that, as are most radicals. If the world isn’t following your narrative, invent one.
Meg Lanker-Simons is a perfect example of this. She made up harassment and rape threats to get attention and she got caught. Meanwhile, her supporters actually try and support her, despite the lies and total lack of ethics.
Oberlin’s a local school to us.
I’d be surprised if you could count the “Republicans” at that college on one hand - certainly those who would self-identify as such while attending. It’s got to be one of the most proudly leftist-tilting colleges in the state - the Berzerkly of Ohio.
So if “Barry” is real (and knowing leftists, I doubt it), it surely wouldn’t be difficult to figure out who he was if he was a student.
Heck, the school isn’t that big. How many guys named “Barry” could there be at any one time?
I used to think Dunham was just another attention whore. Know I think she is downright evil. My guess is the guy doesn’t exist, and by feeling sorry for her over the rape we will all ignore her sexual molestation of her infant sister. I would not leave her alone with a child today.
This woman is seriously disturbed and need therapy.
This is all the same as all the cases of campus rape that are not reported to the police.
They women involved only want to get their alleged rapists expelled from their college, but they don’t seem to care what happens after that.
Will he go to another college and rape there?
Will he still hang around as a non-student and attend parties etc and continue to rape in the same community?
Will he just be at large to rape non-college women?
The women don’t seem to care. All they care about is that they he is expelled as a student. Note that they don’t even get a restraining order so he theoretically could still be roaming around campus because you don’t have to be a student to be on most college campuses, especially public ones.
All that matters to them is that the men are expelled without any due process. If they are rapists, well, they can just continue to rape but be an un-enrolled rapist. So they don’t even care about their own safety much less anyone else’s
If Meatbag Ventura can sue Chris Kyle, surely Barry can go after this lying skank.
He exists. Several publications have been able to identify him and contact him, including Kevin Williamson at National Review.
Barry needs to sue for damages.
