The menacing letter sent out to a million New York Democrats to bully them into voting was written by a top campaign strategist who was appointed by Gov. Cuomo himself, sources told The Post.
The revelation comes as a circular firing squad of finger-pointing has erupted over who is responsible for the letter, which was sent out last week by the New York State Democratic Committee and caused panic in the Cuomo camp, sources said.
The letter warned voters that the party would be keeping tabs on who goes to the polls on Tuesday. Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record, the letter says.
We will be reviewing voting records . . . to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014.
It ends with the ominous line: If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not.

No pork salad for the field hands,unless..........
The message is: "If you want a place at the feeding trough, your name better be on the list."
My wife is a registered “R”. She became a citizen in 1975. Where she came from, voting was mandatory. Vote or go to jail. Now that she has the freedom to chose, she usually only votes in presidential elections. I’m pretty sure she will sit this mid-term out like normal. She is exercising her right to not vote. I wish she’d vote out the commies, but I have to respect her rights, so I don’t interfere with her wishes.
Their only problem with it is they got caught.
A blatant display of something I have absolutely no feel or perspective of understanding of. Axe handles for signs?
Menacing letters are not a bad idea. Let’s send them to whatever RINOs survive this round.
(Congressman, Senator, Governor, etc.), you have won (election, reelection) and we offer congratulations. We your voters have a request. We want you to view every proposed policy and every existing law with an eye to the Constitution. We want you to reject anything that goes contrary to its dictates.
Please remember, we hired you to do a job, and we know where you live!
