...

The Grimes campaign reacted late Friday to a mailer circulating in Eastern Kentucky that looks like an official election notice, with bold text reading: “Election Violation Notice.”

Once opened the mailer lists claims Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes made in a TV ad that have since been rated false by the Washington Post.

The mailer was sent our by the Republican Party of Kentucky...

The Grimes campaign filed an injunction on Friday afternoon requesting that “both state and federal authorities to investigate what, on its face, appears to be a clear violation of both Kentucky and federal laws.”

Jonathan Hurst the campaign manager for Grimes said the letter was a ploy by the McConnell campaign to “intimidate Kentuckians” in a statement sent to the media.

“Of all the terrible things Mitch McConnell has done during this 30 year career in Washington, this last-ditch campaign he authorized to intimidate Kentuckians and prevent them from exercising their right to vote is unquestionably his most despicable,” Hurst said.

Meanwhile, the McConnell campaign announced they were exploring legal options on a mailer the Kentucky Democratic Party sent out...

“Alison Grimes spent hundreds of thousand of dollars defaming Senator McConnell and his wife on television with an ad she knowingly aired after it was found to be false and is now attempting to stop the Republican Party of Kentucky from correcting the record. The only legal question that should be pending in court is the Grimes campaign’s reckless attempt to sow racial division among Kentuckians with false information. Their overt targeting of minority voters with false and inflammatory claims in connection with an election must be stopped, and we are exploring all legal options available to do so,” said McConnell spokeswoman Allison Moore.

Not a fan of Mitch but I hope I never hear Alison Grimes again. She is a loud-mouth bit$h.

She won’t even admit that she voted for Hussein Obama for president. It is a fair question to ask her because voters have a right to know the candidates judgment. Anyone that voted for Obama has a serious lack of judgment.

What’s not going to happen is republicans winning the senate and Mitch being defeated. I don’t like Mitch but I damned sure don’t want to hear Grimes the next six years.

Republicans desperately need a change in leadership. I believe you would find most of us agree.

It is amazing how viciously these incumbents fight challengers to retain their seats on Capitol Hill, only to turn Milquetoast thereafter.

You gotta admit that that McConnell mailer is pretty shady. If I see something addressed to me with "ELECTION VIOLATION NOTICE" in big letters on the front, I'm going to think somebody is after me.

I’m laughing because McConnell did the same thing to Bevin AND Grimes.

What goes around comes around.

I’m all for beating down the Democrat but not at the expense of the truth so you are no different than the MarxoFascists who stoop to intimidation, threats and outright boldfaced lies to make emotional points on the low information crowd.

It’s amazing how much alike the Ruling Class GOP is, to the Democrat Marxists. Recall what McConnell and the Ruling Class did in Cochran’s campaign by paying black Democrats to vote for Thad in order to defeat a Conservative. That even made Democrats blush.

No tears lost for McConnell if he hopefully loses. He might have shot his lead with this crap. Would not be surprised if this gains traction that he denies he knew anything about it.

Not amazing at all. Money, Perks, Power are what they fight for. After that it’s sit back in the easy chair and look important.

In a perfect world, McConnell would defeat Grimes and then retire in favor of a more conservative Republican.

I see nothing wrong with the ad. Only a fraudulent voter will think they did something wrong.

Screw the RATS, stomp them into the ground with every dirty trick they use.

The creepy McConnell will not retire if he wins and becomes Senate Leader McConnell...now way no how.

There is nothing to like about McConnell...not his shady in-laws nor McConnell’s ‘leadership’ style. IMO...McConnell is only about feathering his own pockets...well, along w/ his families pockets.

I’m all about people being able to improve their circumstances in our country...but I’m not about politicians who have an unfair advantage and who rig the system to their own benefit.

In my perfect world...McConnell loses...and someone else becomes Senate Leader.

And when the GOP Ruling Class and McConnell use those same ‘dirty tricks’ on Conservatives?

What then?

They already showed us that they will do worse than Democrats to defeat a Conservative daring to run in a primary.

You really want to give them that power and acceptance just because you think it will help crush Democrats?

Well what do you want more? 6 years of one idiot or the other sabotaging conservative governance? Because both are going to do it.

We always say we have to replace rinos. Well there is always going to be a dem running so if you want the RINO gone and conservative governance, kill two birds with one stone. Go to the polls and write in a conservative. If you get Grimes, the RINO is gone. And the GOP takes a power hit. Then in 6, work a lot harder to get conservatives on the ballot.

People want things but things cost. We are not getting rid of the traitorous bastards without pain. We have to accept that.

McConnell is Harry Reid with a Kentucky accent.

I just like seeing Rats get a taste of what they serve up.

This isn’t about primaries.

Cleansing all the “moderates” won’t happen in this lifetime. Realistically, you’re going to have to have some or you’ll never make gains. It’s just that’s the America we live in today.

Senator Jeff Sessions campaigned for Scott Brown. Scott would be considered a “moderate.” Should republicans not support Scott?

People should think logically. You do not gain through compromise. If the candidate cannot hit 80% and maintain the platform, then no they should not get our vote. Expend more effort next time, get a conservative on the ballot or repeat the last 30 years of failure.

Getting things done is great. Rinos do not fill that objective. RINOS stand silent on ebola, hold endless ‘investigations’ and help kill more Americans by importing disease via their Bhoner promised Amnesty.

Is Brown going to back Bhoner/Mitch?

There’s all the answer that matters.
