I've been thinking this is "Red Meat" for the Democrat's constituents? How devoid of what should be common knowledge can they be? But they are, they sat there and gladly listened to more nonsense.

Ladies & Gentlemen, give it up for “The Smartest Woman in the World”, pure comedy gold.

Yes Democrat constituents! You will all get jobs from somewhere other than a business....

Now where are the jobs coming from? Ask a Democrat?

There is a good deal of truth, in one sense, to the “you didn’t build that” notion.

To build a successful business requires infrastructure and rule of law. Just a fact.

In an anarchic society nobody could build such a business.

However, it’s also true that individuals build businesses that would not otherwise exist. Not entirely on their own, but working within the system provided by their society.

The premise in itself is absurd. If one agrees with this intellectually then you would have to agree that the living have not paid for all of this. The vast majority of people that have contributed to the infrastructure of this country are long dead.

Yes, an opportunity for the initiative to build a business.

Wishful Democrats passing all their taxes and regulation will diminish that opportunity and initiative.

If it is so easy, why don’t you get off your backside and build a business.

No arguments there.

In an example of supreme irony, the less-intelligent and capable, the ones progressives are supposed to be interested in protecting the most, are the hardest hit.

Intelligent and capable people can navigate thru the maze of regulations successfully to run a business. A below-average IQ guy, who otherwise might be able to support himself and family with a lawncare business, for example, finds doing so a LOT more difficult due to the complexity of regulations.

All regulations produce barriers to entry, which by definition are an advantage to those already in business. Reduces potential competition.

Of course, those same regulations also have many negative effects on existing businesses.

They used roads built by taxes which they paid just like everybody else. Protection is provided by police paid by taxes which they paid just like everybody else. etc. etc. etc.

The only time they don’t pay taxes just like everybody else is when the GOVERNMENT gives them a tax break.

A good debater, or a rare republican who can think on his feet, would say, the industrial revolution took place before there were good roads. The goods were made creating a need for better transportation to and from the market place. Bottom line: If the people don’t work to pay taxes to build the roads, there won’t be any.

Translation :”You didn’t build that”

We own part of your business and we come to claim our “fair” share. Of course, the idiots to not want to share the risk involved and do not want to add to the labor required to build and maintain the business.

The idiots want to walk onto the farmer’s field at harvest time and take, take, take.

Jack Welsh on Fox Business Block says Yes, Hillary does believe what she said. And to counter the opinion she doesn’t, he asked Cavuto to give an example where Hillary has helped businesses create jobs.

I agree.

But it is still a fact that capitalism requires a certain level of predictability to function. That predictability is provided by the society as a whole, and in particular by the government imposing rules of conduct on society.

Obama and Clinton’s shared lunacy to one side, when I got out of school I never had any luck getting a job from the government or a poor man.
And my recent graduate daughter can’t find full-time work thanks to `Obamacare’ and its “subsidized” poor people.
Socialism is evil. Crush the Democrats.

I would disagree; it was human enterprise/business that built the infrastructure. The pioneers made their way through the wilderness, cleared the forests, built their homes and planted their crops; and as they prospered, they and the businesses which soon followed built the roads and the ferries, dug the wells; these endeavors were, improved, advanced and increased by each successive generation. It was business that built the infrastructure not the other way around. It was in this prosperous and free thinking clime that inventors and thinkers were able to harness electricity, build magnificent bridges, invent the airplane, and develop all of the other wonderful infrastructure we have today. Think about it, which came first, the cattle ranches or the railroad?

This shows Democrat constituents have no intent on voting for someone who will improve conditions for corporations and businesses to create jobs.
