Washington State Voters Weigh In On Two Contradictory Gun Control Initiatives

A week after a school shooting in the Seattle area, residents of Washington state are faced with two competing ballot initiatives on guns this election. Initiative 594 would require universal background checks for gun sales, whether online, at a gun show or trade. Initiative 591 says no such changes would be made at a state level until Congress votes for the country to adopt universal gun control.

Notice there's nothing in the lead paragraphs that say that TRANSFERS between people are banned. So, you cannot lend me your handgun at the range without filling out Form 4473 and state forms.

Prediction: this statist nonsense will pass. Good luck, Washingtonians, and enjoy the chains.

BOTH of these are gun-grabbing initiatives. The one wants to start registering everyone NOW, the other after Congress passes another unconstitutional firearm related law.

Washingtonians, vote NO on BOTH of these if you value your firearms.
