He has to go. He can’t safely do his job in Ferguson.

I agree.

Whether it is right or wrong his life as he knew it is over. Case in point...Zimmerman.

Hopefully he can get a decent settlement...which he deserves.

He can come to Texas.

“If Wilson leaves, he’s done. What other law enforcement agency is going to hire a nationally known murderer of a black child who was just walking down the street? (do I really need a sarc tag?)”

Maybe so, but look at Detective Mark Furhman of OJ “did you call him a Ni—er” fame. I just imagine his frequent appearances on FNC are not being done pro bono. And a plus for Furhman is knowing OJ is going to die in prison for trying to steal back his $hit!

Prejudgment by prejudiced lawyer Eric Holder:

Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday that there was an obvious need for “wholesale change” in the Ferguson Police Department.

So savages can rob and steal and when the cop does his job, the savages riot?

What a country. Wish I could check out.

“eased out” my ass! I hope Wilson sues the crap out of them if he’s exonerated.

While it certainly looks like Officer Wilson did nothing wrong it was what happened after the shooting that set things up for what went on afterwards. When the other officers arrived on scene they aggressively (and quote possibly illegally) seized cell phones from everyone they could get their hands on. While they say it was to ‘protect evidence’ the problem is that we haven’t seen the video that they ‘protected’ nor have the owners of those phones received their phones back.

If all is as we’re being told it is then why the cover up?

Yeah, I doubt he could continue to work there either. Let the good citizens of Ferguson pay him off. He deserves it for pain and suffering.

Punish the innocent. Reward the guilty. It’s the Alinsky way.

The DOJ is in obvious need of wholesale change. Doubt it will happen on Obama’s watch though.

Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday that there was an obvious need for “wholesale change” in the Ferguson Police Department.

Apparently, Holder's 'investigation' turned up not one 'smidgen' of evidence that the Gentle Giant committed a single act that set in motion and escalated the series of events that ended in a dead Gentle Giant.

So, the police department needs "wholesale change".

You'd be surprised. I know a fair number of LEOs, and to a man they're PISSED over how Wilson is being treated.

Sure, he'll never work in any sort of urban policing environment ever again, but he's going to get a nice silver parachute to leave quietly and will have options with smaller and more rural forces. If the guy's smart he'll find some nice little Mayberry somewhere that the public will support him, and in 15-20 years he'll be Andy Taylor.

It is the spectre of civil liability against the city and its officials in the event that anything further might happen if Officer Wilson remains on duty.

It is called “negligent retention”....used to end many a good public servant’s career.

As much as I am not one to give blind approval to cops in general, he should go for a good lawyer...get a great settlement and find a cop job somewhere where the majority of the town’s inhabitants are not racists.

Not a Black town though...Blacks as a group are far too racist.

Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday that there was an obvious need for “wholesale change” in the Ferguson Police Department.

So what?

There is also an obvious need for wholesale change in the Justice Department, too, with criminal prosecution, but that's not likely to happen.

So what?

The Brown family may bring a civil suit regardless of what the grand jury does.
