IDF: Threat from Hezbollah greater than Gaza

Hezbollah is many times more dangerous than the terrorist organizations in Gaza, Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan, the outgoing head of the IDF’s Northern Command, told Army Radio on Wednesday.

He warned Israelis not to expect the same level of air defense cover that the South and Center of the country received during the war with Hamas in Gaza City this summer...

Psalms 83 describes a future coordinated attack by all the nations around Israel. The 1948 and 1967 wars were foreshadows of Psalms 83 but not a fulfillment because at the time, Gaza was part of Egypt and Palestine was part of Jordan:

Psalms 83:1 - "O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. 2 See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads. 3 With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. 4 "Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more." 5 With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you-- 6 the tents of Edom (Southern Jordan & Saudi Arabia) and the Ishmaelites (Southern Jordan), of Moab (Central Jordan) and the Hagrites (Egypt), 7 Gebal (Central Lebanon), Ammon (Northern Jordan) and Amalek (Palestine), Philistia (Gaza), with the people of Tyre (Southern Lebanon). 8 Even Assyria (Syria and Iraq) has joined them to lend strength to the descendants of Lot. "Selah"

The last few wars with Gaza and Hezbollah were probing actions to understand Israeli response. Psalms 83 seems to indicate that Israel understands this and proactively destroys all these nations...

I could easily be talked into helping to defend Israel.

One wonders what my return to the U. S. would be like after doing so.

We let ISIS volunteers skate. I'll bet volunteers for Israel would elicit a defined punitive action.
