AP's Scott Bauer Effectively Admits That Media Didn't Vet Mary Burke

M.D. Kittle at Watchdog.org's Wisconsin Reporter scooped everyone covering the Badger State Governor's race on Tuesday when he reported that Democratic candidate Mary Burke's resumé is not what her campaign's web site says it is.

Burke's campaign bio claims that she "played a central role in Trek’s expansion as the Director of European Operations." Kittle found "multiple former Trek executives" who told him that, in Kittle's words, she "was fired by her own family following steep overseas financial losses and plummeting morale among Burke’s European sales staff." The real question to me is why it took until a week before Election Day to learn this.

No mention was made of the lsm's failure to vet (whatever that means) the lyin' king even to this day. So, why would we be surprised that they fail to "vet" totally incompetent cadidates. I mean, if she's doin' such a lousy job that her family fired her, it's gotta be bad. :>}

The really bad thing is that this news broke just before the election. If they had broken it earlier, they could have used the “old news” justification for ignoring it.
I don’t think it is ignorable at this point.

Listening to Kittle right now on talk radio. Apparently, the Trek sources went to the LSM months ago and they buried it.

The ABCBSNBCNNYTimes consortium is just doing what they think THE OBAMA would like them to do; I heard of a whore with similar traits. If you can not “wing it” she said, you’re not a Professional.

All that matters to the LSM is that the Rat candidate is a liberal.

As I said many weeks ago, the corrupt media in Wisconsin desperately wanted a horse race so they basically created one. They lusted after the huge national advertising money that they once received in the recall election and they wanted to reengineer that so they never vetted Burke and they propped her up all along. And now her campaign has crashed.

What effect has this had on the Wis. gov race? It seems to me that it should have quite an impact. If so, imagine how the heads are exploding right now when the democrats thought they were going to exploit the false accusations from the phony prosecutions against Walker during the final weeks of the campaign and now have to play defense against this.

Mary Burke was the Democrat's fourth pick to run against Walker. Everyone else said no. People knew Mary was a lightweight and a sacrificial lamb, but the Wisconsin media wanted a horse race and set out to engineer one. They propped Burke up and did absolutely no vetting of her — none — just like Obama.

Before this story broke the latest poll showed Walker with a 7 point lead in the polls, his largest ever. This story, I'm quite sure, essentially ends Burke's efforts.

In fact, this information is an utter embarrassment to the media, who got caught red-handed not doing their job, and it embarrasses Democrats for putting up such a lame candidate.

This came out AFTER we had a week of early voting. So, while I hope it has a HUGE effect, it may be muted a bit by the early votes. Then again, she’s a Dem, so the lie is probably just a resume enhancement to her constituents.

Apparently the national Union hacks are quadrupling their Push-Pull-Drag operations in Madison and Milwaukee....this ain't over by a longshot.

And think about this....if Governor Mary Burke either quits or is shamed into quitting for the gross incompetence we know she is capable of, the Governor of Wisconsin will be convicted draft dodger, John Lehman.

Oh for an accidentally dropped box of tacks in the "union only" van parking spots in front of the city clerk's office.

Oh noes...the little ski bummette was not a top flight business exec?!!!? Fired from her daddy's own company?!!! You've got to be a pretty rotten exec for that to happen. The wheels are coming off Burke's campaign....as they should be. She's one sorry candidate.

The only reason they threw her up there in the first place was because nobody else wanted to run against Walker. And they figured since she's a female, they'd sucker in all the lib women. It almost worked.

Is it now getting a ton of play in Wisconsin? I mean, is the media covering it now? Is the Walker campaign exploiting it?

The bomb went down Burke’s chimney and exploded in the boiler room that happened to be next to the powder magazine. Then the power magazine did its thing.

Here's how we all know this is true

If any of us had a sibling working for a family business, where he or she left suddenly without explanation and the media suggested he or she was fired......if it's false, the first six words from your mouth are.....

I DID NOT FIRE MY SISTER!"

Instead, John Burke said she was an awesome employee, instead of emphatically denying the story.

His problem is he cannot lie. If he did, he still has a business to run, where the insiders cannot tell the truth about her brother firing Mary Burke for fear of losing their job. But if John Burke lied and said they didn't fire her and actually did, he has all sorts of people inside his company who then would know he's a liar.

Until John Burke states they did not fire her.....she was fired.

And if she was fired, she lied about it on her resume saying she was burnt out. Maybe burnt out is the new euphemism for being fired?
