North Carolina: Hagan and Tillis Tied in U.S. Senate Race
Marist Poll ^ | October 26, 2014

Posted on 10/29/2014 4:06:02 PM PDT by Clintonfatigued

In the contest for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan, 43%, and her Republican challenger and state legislator Thom Tillis, 43%, are in a dead heat among North Carolina likely voters including those who are undecided yet leaning toward a candidate or have voted early. Six percent are undecided, and 6% of likely voters with a candidate preference say they might vote differently.

Hagan and Tillis maintain their support among their respective party’s base. However, Tillis leads Hagan among independents likely to vote. A gender gap also exists. Hagan has a 10 point advantage among women likely to go to the polls while Tillis is up 11 among men.

Another day, another poll, this one mildly encouraging. The undecided will chose the next Senator.

If Marist has a tie and Hagen is at 43%, Then Tillis is probably at +5 to +7%.

Well if NC fails to remove the rat, they can live with the vermin for another six years.

There really is no cure for stupid. Ignorance can be treated but stupid is fatal.

If NC goes stupid I hope they will at least have the grace and manners not to whine about it.

An incumbent at 43%, less than a week away from the election?

Under the traditional "sane election" forecasting method, Kay is Toast.

Under the modern "insane electorate and 'miscalibrated voting machine'" forecasting method... who knows.

As the Obola admin lingers on the leftists become more and more bold in their evil deeds. More knockout games, more graft, more abuse of public assistance, and likely more voter fraud. I do not expect a republican to win any close races.

. The undecided will chose the next Senator.

I'd be more inclined to believe that gimmicked voting machines and chevy trunks full of ballots will play the deciding roll.

Did Tillis bring in Ted Cruz to campaign for him?

Or did he bring in the old liberal ladies, Graham, McCain, and Jeb.

Well if NC fails to remove the rat, they can live with the vermin for another six years.

The problem is that this rat casts votes that affect the entire rest of the country, not just North Carolina.

The lairtarian is the only reason this race is in play. Hagan won’t be near 50%.
