The doctor currently being treated for Ebola in New York lied to police about travelling around the city for six days before he was quarantined, it has been revealed.
Dr Craig Spencer initially told officers that he had isolated himself in his Harlem apartment after returning from Guinea where he had been treating people for the illness.
It was only when cops checked his MetroCard and bank statement that they realised he had been roaming the city for nearly a week, visiting a sandwich shop, taking an Uber cab, and going bowling.
It was only when officers rang Dr Spencer and confronted him with the evidence that he confessed, according to the New York Post.

It’s okay. He’s a volunteer health professional and he knows much more than us - Just like Kaci.
Dumb ass all the way around.
Hey, he’s a Dr, he can be trusted........N O T
Yes, he lied like Duncan lied. Wonder if punishment is in order even for a sick person? What do YOU think? If you think I will EVER give up on our little discussion, you’re fooling yourself.
Ebola makes you LIE.
Luckily, it’s not contagious. You can only give it to people.
It’s as if he intended to spread the virus!
ROTFLMAO! This self-quarantine silliness is going to get thousands of US citizens killed.
I am not laughing about the thousands of US citizens getting killed. I am laughing at the hubris of our elected officials.
Health care workers are not the saints that the media has made them. The whining Maine nurse and the lying NY doctor have proven that they shouldn’t be trusted to isolate themselves when returning from the Ebola countries.
Typical self absorbed Manhattan liberal hipster d-bag. One of the major reasons I moved the hell out of that sewer and I grew up there. “Everybody! The world revolves around me and global warming will kill us ahhhhllll” Yes and they all have Cali accents for some reason and openly mock those who have New York accents. I actually had that happen to me quite often by these d-bags in which I always responded “Oh I’m sorry, where are you again? Oh that’s right, New York.” Freakin’ jackasses ruined that whole city
What this means, of course, is that if you see a doctor under Obamacare, you are subject to Police Investigation.
There is no commercially available reliable diagnostic test. When the “screening” depends on information provided the subjective responses of the travelers, it will be very unreliable. The CDC knows this well known fact. However it is making policy to accommodate the one world/no borders ideology of Obama rather than protect the health and well being of Americans.
So far, the one person diagnosed with Ebola in the US who did not travel carelessly around is Nina Pham. So Craig & Amber are either stupid, irresponsible, selfish or naive for trusting the CDC.
Everybody lies. Rule one, Dr Gregory House.
"....Holdren gave a clear indication of his philosophical views in the 1977 book Ecoscience, which he co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich. In its pages, the authors noted, "The neo-Malthusiasn view proposes...population limitation and redistribution of wealth." They concluded, "On these points, we find ourselves firmly in the neo-Malthusian camp."
Economist Thomas Malthus is one of the most literally anti-human theorists in human history. He viewed overpopulation as the fount of all woe, but one which could be staunched with enough blood. In "An Essay on the Principle of Population" Malthus wrote, "All the children who are born, beyond what would be required to keep up the population to a desired level, must necessarily perish, unless room be made for them by the death of grown persons...if we dread the too frequent visitation of the horrid form of famine, we should sedulously encourage the other forms of destruction, which we compel nature to use...and court the return of the plague." Like their intellectual forebear, Holdren and the Ehrlichs proposed their own acceptable sacrifice to the environment....."
Obama's Biggest Radical - articles and views.
Nina is different from the rest
A true spirit filled believer will do the right thing and will be horrified if someone suggests doing otherwise
Can we now stop putting doctors and nurses up on pedestals.
I have always hated that we Americans do that.
Healthcare workers are human beings, like the rest of us. Nothing more, nothing less.
