AMERICA'S OBITUARY: What Will America’s Final Death Throes Look Like?
Vanity ^ | 10 27 2014 | Dick Bachert

Posted on 10/27/2014 8:53:41 AM PDT by Dick Bachert

(I wrote this shortly after Obama's 2012 election to this disastrous second term)

I haven’t slept well since the alleged “election”. Last night, it finally came to me how the last gasp will come.

But first, some personal history.

For over 50 years I’ve been watching – and doing all I could to resist – the infectious rot of fascism, socialism, communism, progressivism (or whatever the name loony left plasters over their insane totalitarian/utopian social engineering scheme for perfecting mankind).

My family and I – and a handful of others it has been my privilege to know – have invested precious and finite time and resources in the struggle to bring those around us to understand that if the left succeeded and captured our major institutions (the media, the courts/legal system, the churches and the schools and colleges), most Americans would not like the outcome. I predicted that if more Americans didn’t join the fight to halt that process, many of them would wake one morning to a very different nation. That morning came the day after Obama’s election in 2008. The situation became even more grim on November 6th, 2012.

In the last 2 decades, it became clear to me that we were losing that struggle as those major institutions gained ground among the growing class of those either employed by or dependent upon the expanding welfare state. My way of emotionally coping with that was to tell myself that if the majority did, indeed, lust after a socialist welfare state, well then, let’s bring it on and let them have it good and hard. Rub their noses in it. Shove it down their throats!!

At the same time, I continued to foolishly tell myself that there were still enough honest-to-God adults out there who, once they had a taste of a totalitarian command state regime, would reject it. I refused to consider that so many citizens (and I use the term loosely) would come to love and embrace the thing enough to sustain it and prolong the economic and personal agony history teaches always attends such despotic systems.

Alas, I was wrong.

The question now is how far will this go? And, if it DOES result in the death of the IDEA of America set forth by the Founders and most of us 70 somethings knew and loved as kids, what will it look like?

Here’s how I see it going down…and I MEAN GOING DOWN.

Thanks to the critically thought impaired youth and adults and welfare constituents (not to mention massive voter fraud), Obama has another term in which to continue his ongoing destruction of the private sector economy begun in 2009. That process will be nearing completion around the same time thousands of American troops will be returning home from the Middle East. They will be coming home to a decimated economy having no PRIVATE SECTOR jobs for them. Most of them will join the ranks of the millions of unemployed civilians already drawing government “benefits”.

It’s anyone’s guess how long it will take, but these returning military – especially those with families they are unable to care for – will reach a point of desperation they will find intolerable.

Comes then Obama with his militarized version of FDR’s Works Project Administration, offering them jobs (paid, of course, in depreciating Federal Reserve notes, but, hey, since they got them first they still had some value) in what may be called the “National Defense Force”. (My choice would be the “Brown Shirts” but it was taken many years ago.) To support themselves and their families, many of those troops will eagerly sign on. As ex-military, they won’t need much training for their new duties. But they WILL need a fair amount of “re-education” (aka indoctrination).

And here’s where it gets sticky: Although these folks did swear a solemn oath to God to defend the Constitution, most of them, as it was when I did so when joining the Air Force in 1962, have little or no knowledge or understanding of that document or its meaning. It was only after I left the service that I began my study of the Founders’ vision for us. Those who understand the Constitution, once signed on, they will be subjected to a subtle or not so subtle brainwashing that the Constitution is no longer the governing American document and they will be required to “follow orders” from on high and insubordination will be dealt with most harshly.

Now whatever will these folks be used for? Might I suggest you go back and review the history of Germany after the 1919 Treaty of Versailles? That treaty and the impossible war reparations imposed on an economically destroyed Germany for its role in WWI drove the German people to their knees and made the rise of Adolph Hitler or someone just like him inevitable.

Now come forward to today and Obama’s purposeful destruction of the American economy and full on efforts to drive the American people to their knees and you will understand how possible, perhaps inevitable, will be the coming cries from a huge segment of the population here to “do something” to restore us to more normal lives.

And that’s when it will move far beyond sticky: At that point, many Americans will physically resist Obama’s thrust to finalize the tyranny George Soros and his other socialist backers and his welfare constituents put him in the White House to produce here!

But, say you, American troops wouldn’t fire on their neighbors? Go back and study the War Between the States. Some of that was brother against brother. And Obama and his thugs are at least as cunning as the Soviets when they crushed the Hungarian, Czech and other revolts: You simply send in troops from thousands of miles away so they won’t have to shoot their neighbors. Now you know why fedzilla has ordered millions and millions of rounds of HOLLOW POINT .40 cal and 5.56mm ammunition!

Folks, this promises to get very, very ugly. Modern weaponry and military technology will make unpleasantness with King George look like a brief skirmish compared to the coming “trouble”.

If this scenario unfolds in anything close to what I’ve predicted, we’re going to be in a time for choosing sides.

And it may be upon us far sooner than any of us believe.

We’re already entering the death-spiral.

Seeing a federal government adopt and legalize such abject depravity as homo-marriage shows that America has descended to such depths of depravity and moral rot, is all I need to see to know that this country has turned and embraced evil, and that its days are numbered.

Is anything too hard for God?

Turn to God in prayers of faith and turn from our negligence, and complicity, and sinful disregard for our government, in Jesus name, AMEN!

God bless all that seek to know and serve HIm, in Jesus name. Amen

Khrushchev? How about George Orwell? America has been had. Had by itself via creeping agendas that we all feared years ago. The low flame of deconstructing America has been lit for decades and the water is nearly boiling now. All of the citizens in the pot now know things are far too hot for comfort and are beginning to realize that we are about to be cooked but we can't get out of the simmering pot!
America may be far too gone for a reversal of fortune. I hope not because the dumbing down is now a numbing out and most folks seem to be out of it. In the meantime our enemies are sharpening their bayonets. This administration has also alienated Israel. America was to be the new Jerusalem, shining city on the hill so long as she maintained her Judeo-Christian values where NORMAL diversity was fine but we have, as a nation, lost it.

>>It doesn’t matter what they think if the Republican voters in the primary select the candidate we have to vote in mass for that person no matter who he is.<<

If he was alive and running today, Ronald Reagan himself could not pass the “Conservative Enough” test. Same for Thomas Jefferson.

You would think people could understand the Buckley Rule. Unless of course, Buckley wasn’t Conservative Enough either.

There’s a line from “Red Dawn” that I like. One of the rebels asks “Why are we continuing to fight? Haven’t we lost? Isn’t it over?” And one of the Marines asnwers: “I’m still breathing. No, it ain’t over.”

No, it ain’t over.

The only idiots are those in the GOP. I voted for Romney, but good grief, the line up of primary contenders was pitiful. Romney? Seriously?

Vote for the most conservative candidate in the primaries, then hop on board (hold your nose) and get whatever republican in office....I agree. With that said:

We will NEVER turn this ship around with the likes of Romney, Bush, Ryan, Christie.

These people are not true conservatives. In fact, Romney flip flopped on many issues during the campaign. Flip flopped on stances he made years earlier while campaigning. 2nd amendment, abortion, socialized medicine, taxes, climate change. It is well documented through several sources.

FOLKS DIDN'T TRUST ROMNEY! Here is a grand idea, blame the GOP establishment for the loss. Fix your damn sucky candidates.

Along with the GOP fielding awful candidates, there was massive voter fraud during the 2012 election. Not only were there progressive operatives at the grass root level cheating, the government itself played a huge role from suing states for Voter ID laws, utilizing various gubbamint agencies to intimidate and or squelch conservative voices to include the immensely punitive IRS.

Look at the corruption in government. Folks are so cynical of their representatives and the electoral process that they've all but given up. Say what you will, but I don't blame them.

I hope it breaks. The sooner the better. This whole process needs a good shellacking, torn down and rebuilt exactly the way the framers intended.

My opinion, ya don't stop voting. Gotta keep on keepin on until ya just can't take that train down the tracks any further...then ya fight. That's my two cents.

In my opinion Obama can’t wait to get out of office. It’s a lot of work and interruptions and wake ups and inconvenience. His party is already lining up the next puppet and Barry will happily step aside so he can golf and attend dinners in his honor full time.

Given the ignorance and incompetence displayed in 2008 and 2012 I don’t think the powers behind the curtain are afraid of another election.

But if it comes down to civil war between a federal tyrant and a population armed with a billion (!) guns, it’s far from a slam dunk, no matter how many apache helicopters they have at their disposal.

Wishful thinking on your part, I fear. Remember the Boston Marathon bombing how people rolled over and complied with every illegal incursion into their constitutional rights.

Only good news was the police fired thousands of rounds and only one person died, likely because the brother ran him over, not from gunshot wounds, when escaping.

Also remember the bonus army after WWI when they routed out of DC.

That was my Hero MacArthur, sad but true. Soldiers the world over take orders and follow them or else. Michael New comes to mind.

Fixing the federal courts is the key to fixing our problems. It is the responsibility of congress to do so. I won’t hold my breath.

Newt in a moment of brilliance explained exactly what needed to be done by Congress to fix the rogue courts, no one else agreed I guess, because it was never mentioned again.

Kiss my ass you steaming pile of marxist feces.

Telling the truth now means we are Marxists?

We will know in a week or so if voting even matters anymore, personally I have serious doubts that it does.

We are either a majority socialist voting population, or there is absolutely scientific vote fraud taking place. Neither of these two possibilities are easily remedied. Especially since not one Republican of prominence has even mentioned either premise.
