No smoking hot spot1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.
Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.
Hmmm...did he sound just like George Jefferson's English neighbor? Any mention of doing research for a lawsuit? How can he dangle that name in front of us and then never come back to it?

The guy is a semi-fraud. He might accidentally be right on five-percent of what he says. Beyond that, he’s just an intellectual who lost his way on science.
One of the amazing things about this whole “gimmick” is that they absolutely don’t want you debating them or arguing against their “science”. My usual comeback is....what science exists today, which forbids debate or peer review? There is simply not a single science where talk is forbidden. This alone, leads me to believe that it cannot be a science, and thus is something of a political nature.
I’m waiting for some comedian to invent a science of their very own....forbid anyone from challenging him...and talk of the sky falling almost daily.

Sheesh. A "retired physicist" using global warming and fear to market his Common Core product. Although he got a physics degree over 50 years ago, he worked primarily as an electronics engineer in the satellite industry. He currently makes a living as a handyman and guitar amp repairman, and is trying to build a business on getting kids excited about science. Through unsubstantiated fear, apparently.

You are way to kind to this zealot. He is an ideologue with a political axe to grind and he used puffed up, colluded scholarship to do it. There is no other explanation if one reads the frequent email communiques between NASA's Hansen, Mann, and Phil Jones of EA CRU. A bona fide eco-cabal.
Besides cherry picking, omission and outright faking of data that didn't fit the narrative, they conspired between themselves and others so that detractors attempting to credibly "peer review" their work NOT be allowed to voice their objections.
He did this because of ideology and government grants from sympathetic administrations, and he his still doing it.

But there is another that receives much less attention and is noticed by far too few. That is the HIV Equals AIDS Scam. That phony science has been declared “Settled” as well.
