The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

The operative Dr. Craig Spencer evidences a suspicion I have, namely that there are people who want to bring Ebola here so that the U.S. gets fully involved in eradicating it in Africa. That is , throwing resources into developing treatments, vaccine, etc. Sort of like the myth of heterosexual AIDS; “since we’re all at risk, we really need to work on this.” The difference is, we are all at risk. Also ,the opposite side of the coin where polling shows African Americans believe that there would already be a vaccine if Ebola had been a European or American epidemic, and the constant murmur that it is racism that keeps us from helping Africa.
Fagedaboutit! Americans are immune from all of these viruses. We’re indestructible. Just ask anybody in the Obola administration. Go back to sleep.

Laws and regulations that have waivers are not laws. They are tyranny inflicted at the whim of a dictator. Either a law applies or it does not. If the “king” (or his appointees) gets to decide who it applies to and who it does not apply to then we are not living under a system of laws. We are living under a dictatorship.
