Harper vs. Obama: What a Contrast

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Audio sound bite from Stephen Harper, who is the Canadian prime minister, speaking about yesterday's shootings.

HARPER: Of course, Mr. Speaker, I would be very remiss if I did not conclude in acknowledging specifically the work of the security forces here on parliament and the great work of our sergeant-at-arms.

RUSH: I don't know. I have to say this, whether it's Benjamin Netanyahu or whether it is Cameron, UK, whether it's Stephen Harper, you hear these other leaders, you hear these other leaders, and you remember the kind of leaders we used to have.

HARPER: This week's events are a grim reminder that Canada is not immune to the types of terrorist attacks we have seen elsewhere around the world. We are also reminded that attacks on our security personnel and on our institutions of governance are, by their very nature, attacks on our country, on our values, on our society, on us Canadians, as a free and democratic people who embrace human dignity for all. But let there be no misunderstanding. We will not be intimidated. Canada will never be intimidated.

RUSH: Remember when we used to have leaders that spelled it out like that? Instead, what did Obama say? This is yesterday in the White House, yesterday afternoon in Washington.

OBAMA: We don't yet have all the information about what motivated the shooting. We don't yet have all the information about whether this was part of a broader network or plan or whether this was an individual or series of individuals who decided to take these actions.

RUSH: So what a contrast or juxtaposition, if you will. The Canadians, they're not pretending it isn't terrorism. Stephen Harper went right out there and told everybody why this happened, who did it, and what their objectives were. And they're not gonna be intimidated.

And in Washington, I don't know, ridiculous. (impersonating Obama) "Well, we don't yet know. Don't have all the information. Don't know what happened, workplace violence? We don't know. We're waiting. We're waiting to find out." Meanwhile, the Canadian prime minister had already spelled it out. Political correctness on parade there in the White House. Can't offend any of the wrong groups.

There is a difference. Harper is a defender of freedom. Obama is a Marxist intent on taking it away in his fundamental transformation of America into a 2nd world Marxist, toothless cesspool of welfare addiction, thought control, and authoritarianism.

The way it looks now (primarily because of our evil media), Prime Minister Harper could likely lose in the next election. He handles things well, IMHO.

But alas, stupid Canadians are star-struck by Justin Trudeau, son of Pierre Elliot. Trudeau, unlike Obama, really is a brainless flake. I don’t think Obama is brainless, although I don’t think he is smart. I think he’s an impostor, and an evil one, at that.

Don’t put much faith in polls at this point.

Canada is still way to socialist and may just elect Trudeau. Too bad we can’t just annex the Western Provinces and Newfoundland. Leave Ontario and Quebec to duke it out.

Justin Trudeau is sickening.

Makes me glad JFK Jr. isn’t around to run for President.

Unlike the United States.

Harper is the de facto leader of the free world.
