There was such a large police presence and so many police barricades that anyone passing by would think that terrorists were at large.

That convener extraordinaire, Jeffrey Wiesenfeld, a partner in a major financial house, would not destroy the set. That Congressman Peter King and Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney would not engage in any acts of petty vandalism. That attorney Ben Brafman, Borough President Melinda Katz, and Attorney General Michael Mukasy would not harass the opera board or the cast.

Almost all anti-semitism comes from the Left, and yet I still see Jews supporting the Democrats monetarily, voting for them, and through their influence in Hollywood attack the right.
I would feel a bit more empathy if Jews themselves did not support the party of anti-semitism.

I was stunned when the Methodist church I was attending had some palis come talk and they referred to the Israelis as “dogs”.
Then there was some pali apologist at the United Methodist Women’s conference in California “presenting”. I challenged his garbage publicly with facts and he was dumbfounded.
This is too funny, for years the Jews in America have been one of the largest supporters of the Democrat party socialist agenda, socialists hate Jews, so now the socialists will and are turning on Jews, and make no mistake it will be all Jews they turn on.

Is there any point replying when you (who dosent/never has lived in the UK) pre-emptively sneer at me and what I say?.
1—The upper class in England was anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi in the 30’s, but not now. They were known as the Cliveden Set, of course there were other upper classes who weren’t, like the Duke of Hamilton and others, who bravely fought the Nazis.
2—The black population of London/UK has been here en masse since 1948, and some well before in smaller communities. I don’t see what problem you would have with them (except some crime and a few race baiters). Ditto for the Skih and Hindu populations.
Again, as I always do, I would point out that it easy to look at one or two parts of a city and think its all like that. Contrary to what you say, most of London isn’t Muslim, much of it is still British/Irish or white European. For every Muslim part, there’s white British and Irish. Or Greek, Jewish, Italian, Chinese, Sikh, Hindu, and of course, a lot of London is black British. Add to that black African, Arab (not muslim) and other races. REMEMBER, cities by their very nature are cosmopolitan.
And you make the fatal mistake of thinking London equals the UK or even just England. There are huge parts of the UK and even England where Muslims or even just ethnic minorities are a very small minority or simply don’t exist. London is England/UK no more than NY or LA are America.
I know, damn me actually being British, living here, and trying to introduce some actual facts and knowledge of British life and culture to the argument.
1—Correct. 92% white, 96% NOT Muslim. Muslims not by long stretch the largest ethnic minorities. Either overall or city by city.
Three parts of the four parts of the UK has Muslim pops. of 1% or less. Most of England even has small or no Muslim pops, or even ethnic populations. Muslims in the UK, for all their noise, have no major political power, economic power or social power. Except for some stupid white liberal PC-ism.
2—No, striking a Muslim will not get you arrested. You see this is the sort of crap (taken from US rightwing talk radio/blogs/sites like this) that I am talking about. I am happy to talk about the UK Muslim issue, but not when I keep reading a load of rubbish someone picked up from some screechy conservative blogger or talk radio host. Who has never been to the UK, like 99% of their listeners and readers.
Of course London is not England. We know that in the UK and here immigrants tend to live in or near cities...where their co-ethnics live and have shops, restaurants etc
Though here we have many Mexicans/Hispanics living in the rural areas doing agricultural work

True, U.K. doesn’t have the Muslim problem as in France, Netherlands & Sweden. But if anti-semitism is the topic, does not the growing numbers of Muslims in Europe feed that hatred?
I don’t like what’s happening to Britain. Time was the worst social problem in the realm were drunken soccer yobbos rampaging about. Choudary may indeed be no more that a tinpot troublemaker, but he owns the tabloids when it comes to headlines.
