Moron or genius, in a hynagogic fog one might believe all manner of implausible things, remnants of vivid dreams mixed with ordinary perception — the defense’s narrative did involve waking up out of sleep and believing Ms. Steenkamp was still asleep in bed. The judge who heard all the evidence (unlike you and me) regarded it as sufficiently plausible as to acquit on murder, but rightly (it seems to me) held that using a firearm and killing someone while in such a state is criminally culpable.

in a hynagogic fog

Hynagogic (sic) fog my aching hynd end.

He's a vicious, vengeful megalomaniac who has now tasted blood. He'll kill again before the decade is out.
