REPORT: STEPHEN COLLINS WON'T BE PROSECUTED FOR CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES
Breitbart Hollywood ^ | October 19, 2014 | Kelli Serio

According to information obtained by TMZ, 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins may not face child molestation charges because too much time has passed since the alleged cases of pedophilia. On Oct. 7, it was reported that Collins' wife Faye Grant released a secret audio tape of her husband confessing to molesting or exposing himself to three underage girls. Grant reportedly confronted Collins about the incidences during a therapy session in 2012 and she got it all on tape. The release of the audio led to an active criminal investigation by the NYPD.

My loving wife tapes everything I say too. You never know when a book deal or TV interview will be your ticket out of the heck hole. Sometimes the elephant brain doesn’t get it right enough for the new media.

Thank goodness he only PRETENDED to be clergy or the statute of limitations would have been a lot longer. Because those guys are ... different.

would have thought the audio tapes would be totally inadmissable anyway under law.

In fact she could probably get in trouble for recording them in a therapy session.

His wife didn't release the tapes for criminal “justice”, or to “protect society from a pedophile”. She did it to torpedo his career, purely out of vengeance.

And she can claim that she had nothing to do with it all she wants. She alone had the tapes, and now they're public.

She probably had somebody edit the audio to make it sound like he said those things. The woman is a terrorist. She is more of a “homegrown” terrorist than some Islamic zealot who just happens to live in the US. I say this because our culture does facilitate the kind of domestic terror reigned on men by women who don’t think their fury is something they need to control like any other decent human being would when things don’t go their way.

Interesting comments given the fact that you lack any evidence suggesting the wife has no interest in public safety. Also interesting given the fact that this is a man who is a pedophile, and victimized these children-a fact through his own admission.

What I find nearly as disgusting as a pedophile who preys on helpless children are those who attack individuals who brings these crimes to light.

“homegrown” terrorist”?!

That statement is demented as well as diluted.

Is there any evidence of this guy’s “admission” other than a voice recording produced by his ex-wife?

Aside from the fact that there was an active investigation by the NYPD after the tape was made known, and that the NYPD concluded that Collin’s cases could be protected by the statute of limitation?

Aside from the fact that the NYPD highlighted Collin’s may be “protected by the statute of limitation”, and DID NOT conclude that the crimes were unsubstantiated thereby testifying of his guilt?

You’re either Stephen Collins, diluted, demented, or all of the above and more.

I'm not defending anything he did, as I believe he is a pedophile, BUT, I also know that the tape was made by her, and in her possession, and you had to be aware that, unfortunately, the criminal aspect of the allegations were beyond the statute of limitations. She released the tape to inflict maximum damage on him.

Not saying anything he did was right, but she is not squeaky clean either. That's all.

torpedoing his career and future income probably won’t help out with how much money she gets in the divorce, seems foolish to me

He’s a creep and his career is likely over, but that’s all that will happen because a conviction was just not in the cards, given the way the ex-wife handled the matter. She was clearly more interested in getting hers than in seeing that he was convicted. She sat on these tapes for how long? Yep, that’s a real concerned citizen alright. The tape was never intended to be anything but leverage toward a more favorable divorce settlement for her, imho. Must not have gotten what she wanted because she pulled the trigger and went public. Sounds like they’re both fine, outstanding examples of something other than a decent human being.

Might have to rely on “Street Justice” in this case.

I’m surprised it doesn’t happen any more often than it does, to be honest. But, this is the entertainment industry. Apparently there’s some expectation of something along the lines of a casting couch experience, even among parents of minors, sick as that is. Recall all the parents sending their young sons for “sleepovers” with Michael Jackson. Tell me they didn’t know. They saw payday and sent them on.

Yep, tape made in 2012 and they separated in 2012. What a coincidence, eh?

Your comments focused on a woman who brought the truth to light. Your accusations are groundless due to unfounded assumptions. It is not unreasonable to consider that during the therapy and her effort to save their marriage, he may have promised to address these crimes, and did not. You’re also dismissing the fact that he violated his marriage vows by sexual molestation with CHILDREN.

All groundless assumptions. You don’t know the details of their therapy sessions, and what could have been an agreement that he would address the crimes, then did not.

Again, the outrage and focus on the woman is typical of enablers who are more interested in phantom-of-the-mind motivations rather than the criminal, his victims-past, present and future.

Enabler? Again, you really need your head examined. Any hope of legally pursuing this was ruined due to the nature of the evidence and how much time had passed. When was the recording made, and why did it only come to light in divorce proceedings?
