"So why won't Obama do it?"

It’s very important to understand why those in power (it's not just Obama, unfortunately) are opposed to stopping arrivals of passenger aircraft from Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone.

On October 1, 2014, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published an opinion paper co-authored by Ezekiel Emanuel, M.D., Rahm’s brother and an important Obama adviser in his own right. It was titled “Why Should High-Income Countries Help Fight Ebola”, and it contained the following language:

“…there are obligations of global justice to combat Ebola and strengthen health systems and infrastructure in affected countries in the longer term. Advocates of so-called cosmopolitanism – a key position in the philosophical debate about global justice – argue that national borders have no significance and that all people, regardless of where they live, are entitled to the same education, health care services, and other social resources…”

The people in power have been creating a borderless world for at least sixty years. They have achieved functional borderlessness in the U.S.A., using the covert revolutionary tactic “think of it always, speak of it never.” Most Americans still believe we have the ability to close our borders on short notice, when clearly we do not.

In any event, Obama, his Health and Human Services secretary, his Labor secretary, his acting Surgeon General, his Centers for Disease Control Director – all of them would DIE before they agreed to stop the flights, because doing it would affirm our borders as actual physical objects and demonstrate that it could be done, and they are mortally opposed to both of those things.

I think it is pretty clear now that if Obola can’t destroy the U.S. he wants to hurt the U.S. as much as he can.

It is unconscionable for a president to put the interests of diseased foreigners over those of the American citizenry.

Just curious.

What would be the costs of quarantine that it would necessitate almost $26,000,000.00?

?

Thank you for that. It really deserves its own thread.

I think most of us feel that way, BUT,there is an old saying that if you don’t take care of yourself first you can’t take care of anyone else.

We have been extending aid to the less fortunate for years BECAUSE we take care of ourselves.

Ezekiel is an ass.

Obama will kill the democrat party.

This is not hyperbole but fact.

Proof:

1. Given it is known that the vast majorly of democrat voters are located in highly urbanized areas.

2. It is also a mathematical certainty that the probability of infection increases with the number of opportunities for exposure.

3. The number of opportunities for exposure will therefore be highest in highly urbanized areas.

4. Therefore; the infection rate will be higher in highly urbanized areas populated by democrat voters.

5. Since the Ebola Zaire virus is ~50-80% fatal to those infected with the virus.

6. Obama will kill the democrat party by killing its voters.

In stating this, I don’t want anyone to die but it is ironic that the incompetence of the president will most likely kill the ones who voted for him.

Scientists, doctors, say travel ban will make it worse. I don’t care what the politicians say. Until medical is on board with a travel ban (and they give EXCELLENT reasons why a ban will make it worse) then no ban.

I learned in 25 years of Prosecuting that ONLY facts matter. That many things, at first blush, seem intuitive but in reality are not.

NO travel ban. I don’t care what ODimwit, or any of these niwits we elect, think on the matter.

A travel ban is the right thing to do. Not doing it is insane. 0 thinks it’s unfair that Whitey isn’t infected and wants him to be.

“So why won’t Obama do it?”

I don’t know. Obama however has selected his side.

If he doesn’t reverse course very soon, I believe Palin was completely correct.

Impeach the bum. After the election of course.

But start thinking of this right now.

Impeachment.

America cannot stand another two years, if Obama is going to advocated for opposition to American safety this way.

Protect America.

I hate to say it, but there is Congress. At the very least the House could have a vote on a ban.

Make the Democrats GO ON RECORD as supporting civil rights for the Ebola virus.

By any yardstick, that man is deadset on destroying this nation.

Keeping us embroiled in wars over oil.

Open borders allowing diseased people and terrorists in.

Policies and staff who foment racial strife at every turn.

Adoption of UN policies that curtail the freedoms of Americans.

I am sure there are others. Some say it’s too early in the morning to drink, I may just break with tradition.

Excellent reasons why a travel ban would work? Are you drinking the Kool Aid too? Are you actually believing the BS coming from the CDC (the ones you are calling medical professionals) or other media “Doktors” who to me sound like they are falling in lockstep with Obama’s ridiculous reasoning for not closing the borders and not keeping out Ebola.

I think the fact Obama opposes the travel ban goes well beyond any science issues.

If he signals that it is ok to keep certain people out of the US, he’s now created a precedent regarding his open borders policy. If we can make an exception today to keep people (primarily black) out for Ebola, even if temporary, then tomorrow the sheeple will want to keep the Mexicans, Haitians, etc out. It makes his reported goal of declaring amnesty right after the Nov. 4th elections more problematic.

An Ebola travel ban is a slippery slope for him and an existential threat to his immigration policy.

Do not confuse science with political science. Only political scientists agree that a travel ban won’t work. And any doctor who thinks quarantine won’t work, needs their medical license revoked.
