If you read “The Innocents Abroad” it was noted that Mark Twain’s cruise ship was not allowed to disembark at a number of ports because of a Cholera epidemic. The ship would stop for fuel and then had to leave port. This was back in 1867.

Why did the ship announce that they had a lab worker on board that had handled Duncan’s samples? Why wouldn’t they have just let them stay in their cabin, under self-quarantine?

Why was Kerry talking about a medivac plane landing in Belize for the self-quarantined passengers, if she is perfectly fine?

Why this big fuss? A cruise line never wants this kind of publicity. Why would they invite it?

Something is not adding up.

ONE man got into the U.S. with Ebola. HUNDREDS of people at risk, inconvenienced, terrified.

Let’s send 4000 troops to Africa to bring back Ebola!

The thing that’s hardest to believe is that there are still ANY people who don’t understand that Obola is trying to kill as many Americans as possible.

“”My decision had been made. The window of opportunity if it had ever existed had slammed shut,” Barrow told Kerry, according to two Belizean government officials.”

Seems like Mr. Barrow is not willing to let US election politics interfere with his responsibility to keep his country as safe as possible.

I find it ironic that Mexico is barring this ship entry while the US is taking care of its sick citizens.

This article definitely says “SYMPTOMS” are we hearing a cover up from CDC? http://beforeitsnews.com/earthquakes/2014/10/belize-confirms-patient-with-ebola-symptoms-on-cruise-ship-off-its-coast-2517068.html?utm_term=http%3A%2F%2Fb4in.info%2Fpho5&utm_medium=twitter&utm_content=beforeit39snews-buttonsunderheadline&utm_campaign=&utm_source=http%3A%2F%2Fl.facebook.com%2Fl.php%3Fu%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fb4in.info%252Fpho5%26h%3DqAQG1k9ud%26enc%3DAZMtdUbaU5IE0Oz-P5SU7B-QwdY38ZKNq-MVAWT3c13tK0E8nkLgD6Hz4NQ_BDMZ1Xj5Ip3uEE4-nmoCcN68OjQs28t0C6GwjUSJaIK1cdpvnA%26s%3D1

Wow... talk about hysterical overreaction to nothing.

I guess anyone who works in a lab is an epidemic or pandemic waiting to happen.

Are those of us who work in labs going to have to start wearing biohazard, radiation hazard, carcinogen hazard, etc., signs when we go out in public, so as to warn people that being around us is dangerous?

This situation is absolutely ludicrous, IMO.

I have an idea. Want to make a lot of money? Just get into the medical protective garment business now. Manufacturing, and selling. You will be a millionaire in a few months.

It's really difficult to control any type of virus that's on a cruise ship.

A virus like noro lasts months to years on dry surfaces. A virus like ebola last days on cool damp surfaces. There is still a risk, but orders of magnitude in difference especially when the alleged victim is quarantined.
