Gannett is pretty much an Obama suck-up MSM company, isn’t it?

I don't know anything about that. They are a media holding company and they own over 90 daily newspapers, nearly 1,000 weekly newspapers, more than 30 television stations, and more. These operations are in 41 U.S. states and six countries.

Yes, Gannett is a liberal propaganda operation. Follows in the footsteps of AP, NYT, WaPo, etc.

Hah! The local Gannett rag is putting itself out of business. They raised the subscription rates without telling anybody, hoping nobody would notice, and lost a lot of customers, having to offer greater enticements to try to stem the flow.

Didn't work with me. In fact, they just called within the past hour or so. I didn't bother answering.

Besides the constant propaganda barrage, I remember an FR post about Gannett that appeared to show them coordinating the publishing of "letters to the editor" across the chain trashing Bush at the time on the same theme on that particular Saturday or Sunday.

Probably one of the reasons Gannett demanded "link-only".

Gary Varvel is a brilliant conservative cartoonist that works for the Indianapolis news. While the paper has gone to the dark side after the Pulliam family sold out to Gannett, Varvel’s effective mocking of the left is worth the price of the newspaper.
