A pair of Pennsylvania State Democratic Representatives are alive today because one of them was able to draw and fire his concealed weapon, driving an armed robber away:
A Pennsylvania state lawmaker who got into a shootout with a 15-year-old boy who was trying to rob him near the Capitol said Wednesday the experience proves the value of packing a gun.
State Rep. Marty Flynn, a former prison guard who is licensed to carry a handgun, said he believes he probably would have been killed if he had not used the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 pistol that he conceals in a belt holster worn on the small of his back.
This isnt my neighborhood. I didnt grow up here. Im not comfortable in this environment, said Flynn, D-Lackawanna, a native of Scranton in the states northeastern corner. I dont feel safe walking the streets of Harrisburg.

Does he say serfs in Pennsylvania have lives of equal worth, or only the "more equal" animals?
Tough call. Too bad the kid didn’t whack both of them and the Dem. Rep. whack the kid. I would have been a public service all around.
Don’t know. He’s a little out of my district. Especially since I’m in Nevada. Any PA FReepers know about this guy?
OUCH!
Yet another nail in the ‘liberals dont like guns’ coffin. Liberals love guns and have no problems using them on whoever they will for whatever reason. Their problem w/ guns is that you can have them too.
Like most Pennsylvania Dems who manage to get elected outside of Philadelphia. Gun toting traditional values guys who yet are not above using the power of government to steal and redistribute other people’s money.
That plays real well with most of the voters here.
The only thing I know is that both demonRATs just voted with the NRA in a bill that further limits the state, cities and counties from eroding our right to carry, so they are not bad guys on guns, but most PA congress critters are with us.
Imagine Charlton Heston if he had espoused Elizabeth Warren’s economic policies.
THAT is a typical Pennsylvania Democrat.
The perp is, I presume, Amish?
and hes bound to be chased out of the party for not giving the ‘poor’ and in some way ‘minority’ thieve his due.
