WASHINGTON Oct 16 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Thursday he is considering appointing an Ebola "czar" as the lead U.S. coordinator in the effort to contain the virus and that he remains opposed to a ban on travel from West Africa.

We already have an infectious diseases czar. (Dr Nicole Lurie) She funneled money away from companies doing Ebola research and sent it to Obama friendly companies.

Anything to pass off the blame for their inevitable failures.

This means whatever bad happens at his directive, the Czar gets the blame and Obama just tosses up his hands.

This is B.S. Aren’t taxpayers already footing the bill for the Surgeon General? Seems to me that would be the “go to” official for coordinating matters of national health concerns.

Its not the first time Obama has done this.
In 09 he appointed Chicago watermelon crony, Cameron Davis as great lakes czar and gave him some $20 billion to play with. A couple years later Obama appointed a “carp Czar” to deal with invasive species in the great lakes and gave him money to waste. Meanwhile when is the last time anyone saw Cameron Davis or asked what happened to the money?

Kent State said it had asked the three to stay off campus for 21 days “out of an abundance of caution.”
