Meanwhile, in Iraq....

Guess what WON'T be making the network evening news shows tonight?

This will continue to happen until the Shias get up off their asses, screw up their courage, and defeat ISIS. I read that when this all went down in the summer, the Iraqi army outnumbered ISIS 10:1 and STILL ran away.

When ISIS takes Baghdad, does that mean, they ‘win’?

We obviously won’t be sending in ‘boots on the ground’ to beat them back.

At that point, I guess it will be a race to see which will take it first, The Saudis, or Iran. Meanwhile poor little Kuwait will be nervously watching.

As with everything else, the 0bozo “Administration” will already have a plan for blame deflection ready to go. It will either be “Bush’s Fault” or the House Republicans.....

What’s happened to the guy who thought he was the Emperor of Sadr City? Has he melted away in the face of this threat when his blustering nonsense will only get him killed?

The Islamic State group has overrun vast areas in western and northern Iraq as well as parts of neighboring Syria, and has vowed to destabilize and eventually take over Baghdad.

ISIS has to destabilize Baghdad so that ISIS can prevent an Iraqi Government forming there that can organize resistance against them.

ISIS should have many Sunni sympathizers in Baghdad amongst the general population that can help them in this goal against the Shiites and the foreign Infidels and their Muslim collaborators in Baghdad. -Tom

There have always been attacks in Bagdad killing 50 people (ok sometimes it’s 35 people or 47 people).

This has been going on pretty much continuously since Sadaam Hussein was on the run.
