When ISIS takes Baghdad, does that mean, they ‘win’?
We obviously won’t be sending in ‘boots on the ground’ to beat them back.
At that point, I guess it will be a race to see which will take it first, The Saudis, or Iran. Meanwhile poor little Kuwait will be nervously watching.
As with everything else, the 0bozo “Administration” will already have a plan for blame deflection ready to go. It will either be “Bush’s Fault” or the House Republicans.....
If Baghdad falls to ISIS, there will be a huge stream of Shiites south and into Iran. I would expect that at that point Iranian Revolutionary Guard units would become directly involved - a second Iran/Iraq war, if you will. Should be quite a show.
>When ISIS takes Baghdad, does that mean, they win?<
.
Yes.
When Baghdad falls, we have lost our chance to insert boots on the ground in Iraq. Where else do we have the facilities to fly large numbers of people and materiel in?
Tell me if my thinking is false.
