The day begins as we converge in North Texas to once again celebrate the life of Texas Cowboy in the fashion he would want us to have fun together.

(I won’t have to drag an oxygen tank around everywhere this year - yea. I haven’t fully regained my strength, but at least I’m getting around a lot better and lasting longer - double yea, lol.)

I will arrive about 1100 and will have the food ready about 1330. Everything will be cooked and on ice and will just need warming up.

I will be staying with the “Texas Cowboy Gang” Saturday night and look forward to a few adult beverages and good conversation.

In honor of the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot the FlyBoy and I took the FlyBaby (she’s 11 now!!) out to blast some paper targets and sody cans last weekend. She is wicked good with her little single shot .22 rifle. Them cans never stood a chance.

I would have posted sooner but an old disc injury flared up last night and it’s had me down nearly the whole day. The swelling finally went down enough for me to sit and post at my computer.

Anywho, it ought to be fine tomorrow after another eight hours rest. Me and my bunch are planning to meet up with everyone at the Denny’s on 175 tomorrow morning.
