This judge is the same idiot who misled the public into under estimating the threat by going into a contaminated dwelling, driving the relatives of an infected victim around, wearing the same clothes, and then appearing on TV and bragging about it, saying, see, there’s no risk, go about your business.

One of the dumbest cartoons I have ever seen.

You go ahead and ignore Ebola....start by ignoring the threads if you mean it.

You remember polio - I don’t but my mother did. I took care of post polio victims years ago.

Don’t you think people now who aren’t old enough to remember these diseases think that you can just take a pill or get a shot and everything is fine? No understanding of quarantine or isolation to keep infections down because for the most part we no longer have scary contagious diseases that kill people in large numbers. Until now.

I remember Rick Perry on FoxNews when Duncan was first taken to Presbyterian on how they were the best in the country and they would handle this with no problems. Pure blind confidence based on nothing.

America has no “outbreak” plan, we’ve spent all our money on garbage projects and ignored what we know is inevitable one day, a global pandemic. Thus, we are completely unprepared to handle one. I would be the farm if we dodge this Ebola bullet there will be all kinds of talk about shoring up our abilities but nothing but a token effort will happen, and the CDC will get back to buying new office furniture and throwing parties in Vegas.

Just like the southern Border, we’ve ignored it for 50 years and it will lead to the destruction of this country and is already doing so.

Sometimes something is so stupid it doesn’t deserve to exist, I think the US has reached this point. Imagine the history books, we will go down as perhaps the most foolish example of mankind ever. The Height of Folly, that is us.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

The more I read about ebola I tend to agree with you.

With first world modern medicine and catching it early enough (like the plague and rabies) the mortality rate goes way down.

Duncan should of never had the opportunity to bring it to the US, though. The whole administration and their puppet masters should be thrown in the damn gulag.

So, does that translate as we won’t see you on the Ebola threads again?

Or are you going to troll?

We need to quit calling it the Ebola epidemic or the HN whatever the hell it is killing kids all over America, and start calling with EVERY thread, political speech and news article “The Democrats Biological Warfare on America”. Please help.

If it’s slapping Obama in the face it’s liberal democrats doing it. Dallas is blue.

Yeah letting people travel from epidemic areas is ridiculous, and the idiots need to be held responsible by the voters. Still no excuse for full blown hysteria.

Correction. If you do not travel to sub-Saharan Africa and drink sewage water, your chances of dying from Ebola are about the same as your chances of winning the lottery, without buying a ticket.

democrats -dumber than gorillas;

According to Pascaline Le Gouar, senior author of the study, Ebola disrupts gorillas in a very unique way, with entire populations quickly moving from an affected region and dissolving.

“Along with the decrease in survival and in reproduction, Ebola outbreak perturbed social dynamics in gorilla populations,” Le Gouar explained in a release.

According to the study, once gorillas became aware of an Ebola threat they began to purposely isolate themselves, no longer immigrating with neighboring populations and only rarely breeding. The result? The virus quickly runs out of hosts, disappearing from shrinking populations entirely in the course of a few months.

And while that’s good for gorillas, it leaves investigators with nothing to work with, and back at square one.

Excellent question! I will avoid Ebola threads as long as they don’t pollute the breaking news feed with their hysterical idiocy.

I didn’t know Dallas was blue.

I know Texas is touted as being strongly conservative. But if/when amnesty passes, she’ll be lucky to be purple.

I don’t see any articles about this going through - did they back out?
