When is somebody going tell the Atheists to get lost?

OR, FIRE the school board for caving?

Or BOTH!

The title page of Robert Aitken’s Bible, which was printed in Philadelphia in 1782.

Aitken's Bible Endorsed by Congress

The war with Britain cut off the supply of Bibles to the United States with the result that on Sept. 11, 1777, Congress instructed its Committee of Commerce to import 20,000 Bibles from "Scotland, Holland or elsewhere." On January 21, 1781, Philadelphia printer Robert Aitken (1734-1802) petitioned Congress to officially sanction a publication of the Old and New Testament which he was preparing at his own expense. Congress "highly approve the pious and laudable undertaking of Mr. Aitken, as subservient to the interest of religion . . . in this country, and . . . they recommend this edition of the bible to the inhabitants of the United States." This resolution was a result of Aitken's successful accomplishment of his project.

In the monument's current form, on public school property, my understanding is that Federal Courts would probably end up forcing its removal.

The school board was probably just responding to that inevitability.

I'd be all for putting the monument as close to school property as humanly possible, where everyone would walk by it every day. And they could use larger lettering. Then the atheists could pound sand and the monument could remain forever.

I can’t make up my mind which has the more obnoxious morons. The atheists or the “openly gay” homosexuals. Okay, I know. There’s a very thin line between the two.

If parents complained about Common Core, adult books in the library or the perverts teaching crap to kids as ‘sex ed’ the parents would be ignored or mocked. Even if the parents were a majority.

But just one atheist can get their way.
