You're right. Erdogan has been quoted as saying they are the same as the PKK (the Kurdish terrorist organization which has considerably toned down their rhetoric since the 1970s).

I'm not sure BO will even go that far. Of course, we don't know if it is he or Valarie Jarrett who is calling the shots. My bests are on Valarie.

I agree with you.

Both the Turks and Obama are behind ISIS. ISIS has become a PR problem for Obama, so he has some damage-control to do. Hence the pinprick attacks that aren’t really stopping anything.

Remember when GW sent the Green Beret in and overthrew the Taliban in a few weeks? That isn’t happening here. ISIS is, I believe, still doing what it was intended to do. The unfortunate public head-chopping is just collateral damage.
