Affleck makes his living pretending to be other people or mythological characters such as Batman. He is skilled at parroting the words of other people. Its not surprising that he has closely held politically correct delusions. The real problem is that there are too many vapid people (voters) who worship celebrities and take this fool seriously.

Liberalism - leftism - is at its core authoritarian. It is populist in the sense that it offers a comfortable haven of intellectual pretension for those too uninformed to develop a set of opinions.
Liberal followers are uniformly uninformed. They will parrot edicts propounded by those they respect without consideration. Because liberal positions are based on emotion rather than reason they are not interested in trivialities like facts, truth or knowledge.
And THAT is why Obama has gained the WH twice. He is nothing but an actor (albeit a very destructive one), reading other people’s words from a teleprompter and carousing with other celebrities. He only really gets into trouble when he goes off teleprompter. I WISH this country had awakened to the destruction before November, 2012. If it’s not close, they can’t cheat. As for Ben Affleck, he has achieved well above his abilities in Hollyweird. Should be falling in the next few years.
I went and saw the new “Gone Girl” movie. I was expecting a great thriller. It was just ok. Nothing to brag about.
