I’ve been there a few times. The regular Germans there are just as bad.
Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. The majority of the Germans I met with, partied with, and socialized with (Bavaria '82-'86) were fun loving, helpful, and generally nice people. Now some of the inner city folks (Munchen, Stuttgart, Frankfort) could be real a$$es, but I never held that against the rest of the Deutschland.
