:Putin’s vision has clear limits”

Yes; to gather up all of the ethnic Russians in neighboring states and reunite them in a Greater Russia.

Sound familiar?

Basically, a poster is trying to explain to you the economic ramifications in this geo-political arean and I you can do is throw out every logical fallacy in the book?

Either you are well schooled in the art of Alinsky or you just can't comprehend anything the poster typed to form a well-informed reply.

I'm thinking the latter.

I'll await being called a Putin lover. lol. It's almost like a version of the Westboro Baptist Church has a contingent here.

The “economic ramifications?” Do you always speak in gobbledygook? And why did you put a question mark at the end of your first sentence? Do you know how to punctuate the English language? I don’t know if you’re in the Westboro Church; it seems possible though.

I believe Putin does want to revive the Soviet empire. Emotionally, he was distraught when it fell apart. He was a loyal and faithful servant of the communist regime. He had to know the full extent of the GULAG and its mass murder. It is odd that such a lowlife could ever be thought so highly of by putative conservatives. They apparently value power and Putin without his shirt above the rule of law, freedom, fair elections, separations of powers, property rights, self government, and many other civic virtues that are the cornerstone of freedom and democracy.

~Belarus never stopped being USSR~

True. I would recommend anyone nostalgic for late USSR to visit Minsk.
And Pyongyang would be a fitting cure for Stalinist sympathizers.
BTW, some areas of NYC do their best to outshine Minsk in that department . 1970-1980s immigrants are busy to preserve environment they have allegedly escaped from.

The Soviet Union will not return.

It never left. Only silly Americans could believe that all these "former" KGB and Commies would behave differently just because they now claimed to be supporters of democracy and private property. Russia is still a kleptocracy, same as it always was, and is a threat to the entire world.

Putin’s vision has clear limits.

What? Your constant Putin pimping on this forum doesn't even make sense. Clear limits? Where did Putin say he has clear limits when he is invading countries and even threatening Poland, Lithuania and Estonia these days?

And Pyongyang would be a fitting cure for Stalinist sympathizers.

The funny thing is, you yourself are a Stalinist sympathizer, insomuch that you go around these threads backing up Putin and the Communists in Donetsk and Luhansk, and yet, you present yourself as an anti-communist and anti-Stalinist, and even take the time to poo poo your masters every now and then, only to lie for them on other occasions. Thus you hate Stalinists, but insist that the Stalinists aren't as bad as you actually believe.

I’ve noticed the same thing about those two posters. They’re always coming on site to rationalize Putin’s tyranny.
