WICHITA, Kansas--Ted Cruz came roaring into the Senate in 2012, a lot like a prairie fire, Sen. Pat Roberts said, introducing Cruz to an audience here.
"Prairie fire" is not how one might describe Roberts' long tenure in the Senate. But as he works to stave off an unexpected challenge from independent candidate Greg Orman, a wealthy businessman who has declined to say which party he would join in the Senate, the monumental importance of the race has prompted Cruz, Sarah Palin, and other top conservatives to chip in to help win the race.

Nooooooo!
Sadly Cruz has been found to have a blemish.
The Temple Priests will reject him.

I am not going to get hung up on how conservative Roberts really is. My priority is to first get rid of Harry Reid as ML.

If Milton Wolf wants to get Roberts’s endorsement the next time he runs, he should get over his bruised feelings and endorse (and campaign with) Roberts now.

Funny, this seems like the conservative correct thing to do to me.
Now, to a GOP-E loving Freeper like yourself, I could see why you would think there was some inconsistency there, but there is none.

Of all the national Republicans running this year, Pat Roberts is the least objectionable and should be supported by conservatives. It makes sense to sit out Thad Enough, Lindsey in SC, or even Cornball, but not Roberts. He’s the best we can ever expect from KS.

Yeah, as conservatives, we wouldn’t want a Senator Roberts owing anything to Cruz next year. We’d much rather have Orman fighting against Cruz in the senate.
That way Cruz won’t gain any influence!
The obvious having been said, as long as Republicans get 51 sure seats it wouldn’t matter to me how many of the rest lost. Hope McConnell or Cochran lose- as long as Rs get 51.

What a shame the most on this forum do not share your wisdom. The problem is most of this forum posters are much younger than me. At my age in 70's I better have gained some sort of wisdom. But thanks for the kind words.

If Milton Wolf wants to get Robertss endorsement the next time he runs, he should get over his bruised feelings and endorse (and campaign with) Roberts now. After what happened to him this time around I doubt Wolf will ever run for anything ever again.
