Late last night the Washington Post broke a story about a connection between White House aides and the 2012 Secret Service prostitution scandal. When the scandal broke two years ago, the White House denied involvement or knowing about the details of what happened. The Post story proves otherwise and provides evidence a White House volunteer officially checked a prostitute into his hotel room in Cartagena, Colombia. The report also details threats made against the Inspector General, who was asked to delay the release of embarrassing and damaging information about the connection between the White House and the scandal until after the 2012 presidential election.
Now, journalists who cover the White House are confused about why the administration would lie and cover-up such a minor issue. That's the point.
Politics Editor, National Journal:
First instinct is to trust what the WH is saying, but they've squandered a lot of that trust lately.— Josh Kraushaar (@HotlineJosh) October 9, 2014
Huffington Post White House reporter:
Amazing to me WH would go so far to cover up a volunteer staffer hiring a hooker... b/c of fear of election fallout? http://t.co/Tbxri48syH— jennifer bendery (@jbendery) October 9, 2014
Over to you Michelle Malkin and John Podhoretz:
Luv that lib journos are finally waking up to Obama #cultureofcorruption & admin's bullying of inspectors general. Good morning! #Cartagena— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) October 9, 2014
Look, if they'd cover up THIS nothingburger...that's the point, guys. That's the point.— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) October 9, 2014
They aren’t very good reporters if they aren’t suspicious
That’s funny. Shocked? The Obama administration has been based on lies and deceit
The correct spelling of the word is T-A-Q-I-Y-Y-A
More like Journalists are figuring out that Obama isn’t all that popular.
Come on! Is this satire? You know you are supposed to put it in the title when it is, don’t you?
Basically, for six years...they’ve marginalized their investigative skills, lost readers and viewers, and pushed themselves into a corner. Suddenly changing now? I think they’d lose what respect they have left. To suddenly wake up and say they got smart...won’t work with the public.
I’m shocked that they would lie about such a small issue. I mean, its not like the buried and suppressed larger issues before the 2012 election all in the name of being re-elected. Oh, wait.
Not one of the “reporter”-flacks has asked to
see ANY DOCUMENTATION - from the Impostor’s
multiple birth certificates, on.
“First instinct is to trust what the WH is saying...”
And that is why you are so totally unsuited to being anything but a Urnalist.
All I know is if Woodward and Bernstein were still alive, the White House wouldn’t be able to get away with this stuff.
Did you really expect them to?
Paging Candy Crowley, your lard arse presence is needed to moderate another debate. The MSM has covered for this guy to such an extent that the WH really hasn’t tried that hard to cover lies. They just figure that they can do whatever they want and the good little lap dog media will roll over. I would not look for many more stories like this to come out. Once the media scratches the surface, the bleeding will not stop.
And the people are supposed to be sympathetic to these reporters??? Why???
?
Pick out 1 lie amongst a thousand, isolate it, focus on it, be shocked about it.... oh ya, pick a trivial one at that
It’s never the CRIME, Dummies! It’s the COVER UP!

Woodward is, and he wrote a book exposing Obama’s role in the budget negotiations with Boner. It completely and totally ruined Obama’s lie. The result, if you recall, was that the MSM turned on Woodward, their hero. It showed me that the MSM would do anything and everything to preserve Obama.
They’re just following DNC marching orders to throw Barry under the bus and start pimping for Hillary.
