I like Hannity. His heart is in the right place but his brain is not up to the task. Nice guy just not very bright.

I see Limbaugh and Beck and Savage in a slightly different light. The latter two are histrionic egomaniacs riding a wave of discontent. They're following the great one, Limbaugh. None of them are bad guys, either. But at their cores they are all entertainers. And they're all chasing the almighty $$$$. And that's fine! Really it is. The very essence of capitalism and by God, I love it, but I don't look to them for deep esoteric essays on conservatism. I just don't. For that, I'd look at (and how!) Megan Kelly and Ann Coulter. Or the folks on The Five except of course for their token liberal of the moment whomever is sitting in that role, Juan Williams or Bob the ex-boozer-Bechtel. (sp?)

Rove most often is photographed with the Capitol in the background which is a way of bragging about his conservative credentials being from the heart of Texas.

Unfortunately (many would like to move it) the Capitol Bldg is in my hometown of 60+ years. That means Austin and Austin is “Rabies Liberal”.

So, it is no coincidence Rove is here. He is just as much a traitor to the American Conservative Cause as Obama is a traitor to the American People at large.

“Rove has never cared about conservatism and has spent his entire career opposing any Republican who might be successful in promoting or implementing a conservative agenda,”

Karl Rove has a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.
That goes for every other pol and pundit and lobbyist on both sides of the aisle.

It being election season again and once again this is the most important election of our lifetimes. It seems kind of funny that every single election is always the most important election of our lifetimes. Kind of like the way whatever month it is it’s always Truck Month here in Texas.

The establishment has no ideology. The establishment believes in the basic principle “Money Talks”.

Reading some of the posts here is like watching a group of people watch the same movie over and over but expect the ending to be different.
Who knows, maybe this time the Titanic won’t sink.

The biggest crisis I’ve seen with the GOP in my lifetime was when they held both houses of congress and the WH.
That’s when the mask slipped.
Nothing significant was done because there’s money in the status quo.

I expect the GOP is going to win the Senate. I also expect that the status quo will be protected at all costs.

Rove is just lucky that the Swiftboaters exposed John Kerry. If not for them, W would have lost in 2004. Yet Rove gets credit for W winning. Rove also never answered all the lies that the Dems told about Bush. There’s no excuse for that level of incompetence.

While I have my doubts about whether Rove is guilty of all he is accused, to me his greatest sin is not understanding what voters felt they were promised in 2004. Rove was the flawed conduit from the base of the Republican party to the Bush Admin, notice that the wheels basically fell off the Bush admin when Rove was forced out.

He may be from Austin, but he’s immersed in D.C.

Actually Karl is from Colorado {Denver area} and has been long embedded in Da Bushes going back to Poppy and GOP all the way back to Nixon. In Reagan’s Campaign he had a very trivial where he could do little harm role.
