Conservative Activist says Karl Rove is ruining the GOP

Karl Rove never loved Reagan enough, and for this he cannot be trusted, according to Tea Party activist and columnist L. Brent Bozell III.

In a scathing piece for Politico, Bozell accused Rove of historically opposing every truly conservative leader in the GOP, siding instead with "liberal" and "moderate" factions of the party.

"Rove has never cared about conservatism and has spent his entire career opposing any Republican who might be successful in promoting or implementing a conservative agenda," Bozell wrote.

He rattled off a list of favorable rightwing candidates that Rove has stood against, including Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, and Rand Paul.

In the most devastating barb, Bozell added that Rove has been designated a sensible conservative by a liberal watchdog.

"This is the same man Media Matters has dubbed the Republican 'voice of reason,'" he wrote.

And in other breaking news: Sean Hannity, who loves Karl "The Architect" Rove, is deeply saddened by this report.

Did Hannity come to that decision himself, or did he have to get advice from those paragons of conservatism, Rubio, and Ryan?

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m very pissed about the fact that he is the one who had the NRSC cut off funding for Terri Lynn Land in Michigan. They have conceded that race to the DemocRAT. She was running a great campaign in a freakin’ liberal State. I lived there, and was politically active there, for 10 years. Politically...... MICHIGAN SUCKS!!!

Karl Rove has probably done more damage to the country than Jimmy Carter.

Hannity is an idiot desperately trying to hang on to that “golly gee willickers” thing on his radio show and an inch shallow anywhere else he appears. The guy is useless to conservatives and a tool for the GOPe. In other words, a poser.

He came to that decision himself. I quit watching, and listening to, him a long time ago.

The Rovian choked money to Land’s campaign from the start. He’s much more happy sinking it into other pet races and propping up incumbents. Land is too much of an unknown quantity for the fat *****

If you want to find true conservatives in politics these days you have to look outside of Washington. Karl Rove is just a Beltway @sshole who sees government as an industry instead of an institution.

I used to work in the same building as Sean Hannity in New York City. Seemed like a nice enough guy, but I could tell just from my brief conversations with him in the elevator that he was about as sharp as a marble.

Hannity was the one who, months ago, decided that the only one who could defeat Mary Landrieu was the RINO with the phony smile and empty suit; Bill Cassidy. Hannity gave him 20 minutes of free air time. After that, Lt. Col. Rob Maness, a true Conservative, never caught up.

2012 was a GOP year, but the GOPe turned it into a wipeout, with Palin’s endorsements being the only sunshine.

2010 was an historical victory, and the GOPe has always portrayed it as a doom and gloom election because they had to squelch the tea party getting the glory.

No, he’s wrong. Karl Rove isn’t ruining the GOP. He’s already ruined it.

W certainly wasn’t a great president but Rove ruined him.

The left and the media went on attack and Rove and his losers did nothing. They did nothing to defend him after Katrina, Iraq, or anything else. Rove is horrible for republicans. The dirtbag needs to be tossed out.
