robbed the property the previous day."
Yeah, let's start kicking in the door of a house that got robbed, the owner won't at all be jumpy and assume it's the robbers again, honest!

There is NO WAY this guy deliberately tried to hurt cops.
Any claim that “they announced themselves” so the homeowner could understand, or gave him a chance to disarm are LIES by a bunch of killer thugs.

When a toy kills one kid, millions of units are recalled and an enormous investigation is launched to determine why, possibly changing laws about toy safety permanently. How many innocent people need to die in the Drug War before the first look is made at the paramilitary tactics police have now adopted?

The robber should be tried for felony murder. Then again, so should the cops and for that matter the judge who signed the warrant. If there was even a warrant.

I read this the other day and there is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS,
The Gestapo Agents that convinced to NON DEPUTY compliant magistrate to issue this Warrant deserve to be on DEATH ROW. Every LAST PERSON INVOLVED DESERVES 20 to LIFE.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE

Another reason why LEO should be required by law to wear body cameras. Assume that the sheriff is lying, unless it’s on video.

I’m surprised the cops didn’t plant some drugs after the fact to give themselves some cover. I guess they don’t even fear the consequences of their no-knock raids gone wrong any more. Why should they? Cops are never held responsible for these kinds of screw-ups - rarely does someone even get fired for this sort of disaster.

The warrant did not allow for a break in of the man’s house. Every one of those jack boots deserves to ride the needle over this man’s murder.

Policing is no longer honorable.
COPS ARE BUMS.
They have the same tattoos and listen to the same vile bilge as the people they arrest.

Meanwhile, last week, a heavily armed team of Bartow County, Ga., cops and the Georgia governors anti-drug task force raided a mans home after mistaking the okra in his garden for marijuana. No one was harmed, but the gardener, Dwayne Perry, described the cops as armed to the gills and told the Journal-Constitution, The more I thought about it, what could have happened? Anything could have happened. Hes right. Just ask the family of David Hooks.

Well, you could meet him, but he was murdered by his friendly law enforcement officers.

I have said it here before... our family’s house was raided by the King County Swat Team. They were just getting ready to knock down the front door when my wife who was recovering from foot surgery managed to get it open. She had multiple guns pointed at her and was held up against the wall while a dozen or so guys dressed in full swat gear ran around the house making a mess.
We never got a reasonable sounding excuse or any type of apology. It was a screw up just like this one. If I had been home and armed with one of many of the firearms that we own this same fate could easily have happened to me. I worked for a local fire department for 25 years, and haven’t got even a speeding ticket on my record. Many of these swat teams are made up largely of guys and gals who are wannabe combat veterans who never actually served in the military.
