It was a cloudless Sunday in Arlington, Virginia, and little did the crowd of 1,600 standing inside Washington-Lee High School realize they were witnessing something of a political vanishing act.
"Are you fired up?" President Obama asked with characteristic gusto.

Mr. Obama hasn't been seen in public at a campaign rally since.

He’s more focused on raising money than raising votes. Yesterday (or maybe the day before) his schedule included three private fund raisers.
He’s raisin’ money from folks, playing golf, and basically living it up to establish his legacy and ensure a suitable infrastructure to continue his fundamental transformation. He will probably spend the next month memorizing his amnesty speech. He will be so excited and believes in amnesty he won’t need a teleprompter.
King Obama doesn’t really like being near the great unwashed masses.
He just wants their blind adulation, money, and obsequious servility.

Exactly, he is raising money for candidates, he has not dropped out of the picture. This is his way of leading from behind. Lastly, according to polls, the less of him in public making speeches, the better for his party.

Agree with you about everything but his ability to memorize. He likely choomed his short term memory into oblivion. But he will be very excited to get this next election over with, so he has more ‘flexibility’.
