We also need to remove all these government employees who have been going along with this crap. They know right from wrong and should know that “just following orders” is not a viable defense.

FedGov is far too big, so it needs to be cut anyways. Those who are complicit in the abuse of federal power should be the first to go - and they should be banned for life from working for federal government (and in sensible states from working for state or local government).

I will celebrate when the thug is removed from our White House.

U must be careful when using those terms. Do NOT use thug w/o giving a name. Libs will jump at the chance to blame Mr. Bush or someone of his ilk.

It’s no coincidence, just blatant corruption.

And certainly nothing new.

My mother attended the trial of the Catonsville 9 in the late 60s. My father’s business was audited for the next 3 years. A teeny manufacturing plant in a no-name suburb of Baltimore.

Never audited prior to that. Oh, and he was squeaky clean. A Goldwater Republican, in fact, back in the day.

I miss the rule of law.

We still have the rule of law. That is to say the rule of the law is what the man says it is rule of law. The "laws, not men" stuff is out the window and it aint comin back no matter what we want to believe when the current Resident retires to his happy hawaiian abode, far away from the hoi polloi...

I've said it before and I'll say it again - we need to have term limits on laws and regulations, not our representatives. Our representatives need to be our representatives, not the bureaucracy's. Also a system of government where the bureaucracy has first class status is always going to be a bureaucratic despotism, and probably compromise on the subject is meaningless (aka hyena and goat arguing over what's for dinner...).

If the next President is Hillary, or any other Democrat, things won't get noticeably better after Obama leaves office.

To use a Mark Twain analogy, think of the King and the Duke in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Obama is the King and Hillary is the Duke.

How does he continue to get away with this? Why won’t anyone stand up to him? If Obama was an avowed dictator, what would be different?
