(Washington Post) The Insiders: Voters have turned decidedly against President Obama
Washington Post ^ | October 6, 2014 | Ed Rogers

Voters have turned decidedly hostile toward President Obama and his policies. That’s not just my partisan view; it is empirical data. A poll released over the weekend shows that 32 percent of voters are using their midterm election votes to send a message of opposition to the president. That is “the highest ‘no vote’ percentage in the last 16 years” as measured by Gallup. I have never seen a White House or a political party as hollowed out as the Democrats appear to be now. The Obama presidency isn’t officially over yet, but it is receding further into our rearview mirror. And it is becoming clear that many in the Democratic Party think the Obama presidency is effectively over, and they are acting accordingly.

[Snip]

Their disengagement from President Obama is remarkable, given how financially dependent many Democrats are on the president’s fundraising abilities.

Michelle had been scheduled to traverse the campaign trail to save the day for Democrats.

Now the word is she's stayng put---says she's miffed about kids eating potatoes and b/c her school lunch dictum to add kale to school diets went over like a lead balloon....so she's using that as the reason not to campaign for Democrats.

====================================================

The truth is despite the endless PR hyping her fashionable First Ladyship with an eye to running for office ala Hillary....Mrs O is a huge political liability.

An unnamed Democrat strategist gently alluded to the possibility that nervous Democratic candidates just don’t want the first lady around.

All of this is hype to insure wins by the Republican party in the mid-term elections and beyond. Meanwhile, nothing is going to get fixed because big money is running everything from behind the scenes anyway.

BTW-—where’s the front-running 2016 Dem candidate?

Haven’t seen Hillary using her (gag) popularity to help Dems on the increasingly unfriendly campaign trail.

The Democrats have such an advantage now with early and absentee voting, voter fraud, etc., that a majority opinion does not necessarily translate into a majority vote.

in November 2008, half the country was saying that “People Are Stupid”, four years later, us 50%’ers are still saying that “People Are Stupid”. who in their right mind votes to collapse the economy twice?

Well, when you can’t even be sure that the “first lady” is any kind of a lady at all it does not inspire confidence.

How did WideLoad figure aggravating American Parents every morning having to pack lunches for all their kids because they won’t eat school lunches was helpful to her husband?

Shows you how out of touch Obama is. A POTUS who is this despised and considered such an historic failure would still go out and brag that his “policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them.” Must live on a bubble. Still thinks it’s 2008.
