Under the Islamist AKP, Turkey has become a state sponsor of terror. Its links to ISIS are the worst kept secret in the region as ISIS fighters treat Turkey as a gateway to the ISIS Jihad.
But Biden made the mistake of quoting Erdogan and had to apologize for it.
Vice President Biden on Saturday apologized to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for saying the Turkish leader admitted his country made mistakes by allowing foreign fighters to cross into Syria.
Biden spoke directly to Erdogan to “clarify” comments made on Thursday at Harvard University and apologized for “any implication” that Turkey or other allies had intentionally supplied or helped in the growth of the Islamic State or other extremists groups in Syria, the White House said.
Erdogan denied making such remarks and said Biden would become “history to me” over the comments at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, in Cambridge, Mass., unless he fixed the situation.
Biden on Thursday also described Erdogan as “an old friend” but suggested he said privately: “You were right. We let too many people through.”
Erdogan also said: “I have never said to (Biden) that we had made a mistake, never. If he did say this…, then he has to apologize to us.
“Foreign fighters have never entered Syria from our country. They may come to our country as tourists and cross into Syria, but no one can say that they cross in with their arms.”
That’s what they call plausible deniability. But it’s telling that Biden had to apologize to Erdogan, a murderous thug who casually kills his own people and talks about ethnically cleansing Armenians.
Meanwhile Biden felt free to stand up Netanyahu during his visit to Israel and then break a plaque and an apology was demanded from Netanyahu for insulting Biden… by building Jewish houses.

He remains the most foolish administration official we have ever had.
This is how far we’ve sunk, the vice president is apologizing for telling the truth. Actually he was probably surprised as hell when some handler informed him that he spoke the truth, considering how little experience he has with it.
It’s a good thing we didn’t get a truly stupid VP like, oh, Sarah Palin. How did it happen that she was made into looking like an imbecile while this clown really is one?
He is the reason I could not vote for Obama, having had him as a senator for my state for so long I simply could not ever vote for him as VP.
Then he is called to account for letting that bit of intelligence to shine through, and he had to revert to his persona, which is to look like a stooge and a totally inept blunderer. Once again, Joe is just being Joe. Jumps to back the wrong horse in every race.
Even when it seems he should know better.
Biden could f@€% up an anvil.
