Is the CDC Playing Immigration Politics with Ebola?
American Thinker ^ | 10/5/2014 | Jason Kissner

Astoundingly, CDC Ebola screening/isolation standards issued following the Duncan Dallas Ebola case still do not properly contend with cases like Duncan’s -- and who knows how many of those there now are in America?

The CDC’s new policy guidelines will be documented shortly.

First, though, let’s quickly discuss the problem Duncan’s case presented, and cases like his will continue to present. During his first visit to the Emergency Room of Texas Presbyterian, Duncan’s condition was such that he “presented with low-grade fever and abdominal pain. His condition did not warrant admission. He also was not exhibiting symptoms specific to Ebola.” Accordingly, Texas Presbyterian sent Duncan home with antibiotics.

When the hospital sent the Ebola-infected Duncan home, it did so because it chose to comply with CDC policy guidelines. Those guidelines were such that even patients who had “traveled to Africa” and who had abdominal pain accompanied with fevers less than 101.5 degrees (i.e., “low-grade” fevers) were to be considered, for purposes of Ebola isolation, essentially “asymptomatic.”

Now then: have you noticed that the MSM has repeatedly characterized Duncan’s case, and cases such as Duncan’s in America, as involving merely “travel to Africa”? One wonders why that is, especially when Duncan traveled from Africa -- from Monrovia, Liberia, in fact. In addition, Duncan is a Liberian national. Moreover, we are now told that Duncan “had just moved to Dallas from West Africa” -- which sounds an awful lot like Duncan is an immigrant.

The orders are coming from the top. The CDC and other agencies might prefer to close the borders, but we have a dictatorship now. The decisions aren’t up to those who know the problem best.

“presented with low-grade fever and abdominal pain
And presented with absolutely zero sense of community mindedness. This pos knew where he’d been and what could be, better than anyone. Real citizens (not the imports) love their fellow man, community and country and would self quarantine. This ass hat lacks that rspect that obobo spelled out for us.

Members of the Senate and House need talk show hosts (which they’re not doing) remind them and US, that heads of US departments of government while recomended by the president are approved to serve by the Senate in a procedure known as advise and consent. Then sworn to uphold, protect, and support the constitution. Not the executive branch which can and does on occasion edicts policy changes based on whims or ideology which conflict with that deparments constitutional duties or places the country in danger .

Therefore the approved and their respective departments are answerable to both houses of congress which funds these operations and can and should refuse an executive order if that order works contrary to existing legislation or the interests of the country ..

Is NASA working on spacecraft or muslim outreach?
No agency in our government is working on the stuff they were chartered to do.

Indubitably, imho.

While it's been said that the juniors at CDC are some of the best in the world, their bosses are obviously wearing kneepØds.

Just wait until flu season hits to see what a completely paralyzed nation that battens down the barricades REALLY looks like as millions have symptoms that are much like how Ebola starts off! The trenches of our medical system are woefully unprepared for something like this. And thank you, President Obola for your “fundamental transformation” when flu season hits! Oh, and PLEASE let’s keep those West African shuttles flying back and forth, since obviously it would do no good anyway with your open borders policy. Oh, and everyone? Be sure to vote a straight Democrat ticket in November: they really DO care about you folks, ya’ll hear? After all:

“Now, I am not on the ballot this fall,” Obama stressed. “... But make no mistake: My policies are on the ballot — every single one of them.” (Including unrestricted West African air flights.)

Barack Hussein Obama, October 2, 2014, Northwestern University

And what, in your view, would having the trenches "well-prepared" look like?

1. More than one isolation room per hospital floor.

2. Millions of quick and dirty tests to distinguish Ebola from flu distributed to all hospitals and clinics around the U.S.

3. All medical personnel in all hospitals and clinics trained to routinely deal with Hazard group 4 viruses like Ebola and the necessary Class 4 hazmat suits.

4. All cleaning personnel trained to use Class 4 hazmat suits and disinfect for Class 4 viruses.

5. Licensed and trained disposal companies capable and willing to routinely, quickly and properly dispose of Class 4 contamination.

Good list.

(2) does not exist.

(5) is forbidden by regulation.

We’re already doing (1), (3), and (4).

Seriously???

What's more important? Liberia's economy or the lives of millions of Americans???

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

There won't be a change until there is a pandemic....not much different than Moses prophesying to Ramses in The Ten Commandments.

Has Anthony Fauci's fallen for the oldest communists trick in the book?

Julius Rosenberg (code name LIBERAL) the man who gave Russians the secrets to the Atomic Bomb used standard Russian mind control technique to compromise American scientists.

"Atomic" scientists - men who were not susceptible to being bribed or bought off in the usual ways were told they were 'citizens of the world' and must protect mankind - not just the United States. (Edward Teller didn't fall for any of this communist bullsh*t... Communists hated Teller.) But many of our scientists had delusions of greatness beyond just being mortal men - or merely Americans - and that was the key...

Back to Fauci...

While I'm listening to Fauci talk about the situation as though he's a 'citizen of the world' and not as American tasked with protecting the heath of citizens of the United States, the thought occurred to me (and it's NOT likely, just a thought) that this could be a weaponized version of Ebola...

We’re seeing this time and again now. What the majority of Americans want done re illegal immigrants re banning flights from ebola countries is not even a factor in our “representative democracy”.
