How Do Democrats Avoid Political Ownership of the Ebola Crisis? (VANITY)
self

Posted on 10/03/2014 9:51:50 PM PDT by TigerClaws

The Administration says it's very unlikely Ebola will ever make it to the United States. It does.

They say they have it under control. We see in Dallas the family found out on the news about the infected man and CDC has told them nothing. This the same day a press conference from the Administration assures us they have everything under control.

How does Obama avoid complete political ownership of this catastrophe?

I've heard now Van Jones trying to blame budget cuts or sequestration, But that won't fly.

These are policy decisions: Keep open borders and no travel restrictions during a pandemic. (

It's not like we can tell where these folks are from. I mean, they don't have a document they are required to carry that tells us every country they've been in called a "passport" do they?)

Bush was blamed for some water bottles not being parachuted into the Superdome. It was all his fault - as was everything, according to Democrats, for years to come and now.

But how does Obama escape the responsibility for the American bodies that are sure to start piling up directly the result of his incompetence?

Or, worse, is this planned chaos?

They will blame Ted Cruz and the Conservatives in the GOP for the Budget shutdown and not supporting draconian Climate Change decrees.

Sorry, hit 'return' too soon and was not finished with my reply.

You asked: But how does Obama escape the responsibility for the American bodies that are sure to start piling up directly the result of his incompetence?

The same way Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot and Stalin were able to get away with the bodies piled up under their rule; you demonize your political enemies in advance so that when the demagogues blame them for current crisis, the sheep are already conditioned to believe it and accept it as gospel.

It also makes the elimination of such people acceptable to the masses.

It just might fly, if the MSM gets behind it. They will produce graphs showing that there were 100 emergency response teams 5 years ago, but thanks to the GOP there are now only three such teams.

This will all be made up of course, but many people will buy it. Lies repeated over and over again will sink in.

If the Republican Congress was smart, they would force a vote on legislation forcing a cessation of commercial air service to West Africa.

Preventing pregnancy with mandatory free contraceptives or providing free abortion services is far more important to the administration than protecting American citizens from ebola.

They are trying to blame it on Global Warming and the government shutdown.

Easy. Ebola caused by global warming. Bush caused global warming. QED the GOP caused Ebola. Done. A Twitterfeed. For nitwits.

Good point, the GOP should go on record now. But has to be more than that. There must be a total ban on anyone having been in that part of the world in the last three months.

It's more than just smart policy, it's common sense. But the Republican Congress as a whole will do absolutely nothing. Someone on MSMBC might criticize them. Or worse, call them names. Better to do nothing.

And if that doesn't work there's the old reliable:
"It's Bush's fault."

President Reagan was so effective that from Gerald Ford on, he was the only President that there were no Ebola outbreaks under.

I’m not ready to commit to the ‘planned chaos’ camp quite yet, but I’m pinning the locations: Colorado, Bethesda, Atlanta, Dallas, Baton Rouge, NYC. Are all the patients male, I wonder? No children travelers? No gals?

Zero is setting the stage to blame Republicans for the spread of ebola using travel restrictions to do it. He will eventually restrict travel, mind you, but then will turn around and blame the increasing world epidemic on the Republicans - who will be painted as denying the world medical care (cue sobbing minority-prominant campaign ads Sharpton will be proud of). We see the beginning of the storyline already in the WHO announcement against travel restrictions. as aways, jmo.

Same way he always does, ignore it and play some golf. Then say he inherited the mess from Bush, then play some more golf. Then say no one told him about it happening, then play some golf. Then throw someone under the bus, and say he's on top of the problem, just before playing some more golf. The MSM eats it up and gives him a pass, why should he worry.

Anyone with common sense and those who do not have their hand out for freebies and for food stamps, can speak the truth that this inept administration is to blame. The lack of security at the airport screening. Hello. Borders open. This is Obama’s administration. His hand picked and appointed cabinet heads. This is Obama’s Land and his chickens have come home to roost. He only cares about himself and his freak circus show gimmick that his media calls a presidency. The only support that he has are from his true followers, the lazy takers and idiots.

It’s a good question, but the Left is so completely full of crap, it matters not what is said on its behalf.
