The United States is days away from settling the critical question of how hospitals should handle and dispose of medical waste from Ebola patients, a government official said on Wednesday.
Experts have warned that conflicting U.S. regulations over how such waste should be transported could make it very difficult for U.S. hospitals to safely care for patients with Ebola, a messy disease that causes diarrhea, vomiting and in some cases, bleeding from the eyes and ears.
Safely handling such waste presents a dual challenge for regulators, who want to both prevent the accidental spread of the deadly disease and avert any deliberate attempts to use it as a bioweapon.

It shouldn’t be a problem...if we just don’t let people in.
Like any sane individual believes Reuters.
What a coincidence, just after Obama’s lies about Ebola control have been exposed, we just happen to have developed this new technique.
Not.
The sum total of Reuters reporters expertise (on a scale of 1 to 100) could be expressed in a number much smaller than one.
Another crisis the Regime has known about for long time, and they are not prepared. This epidemic supposedly started last year, IIRC.
Kill it with FIRE
Why would Reuters lie about this? It makes Obama look bad. They had trouble dealing with the hazardous waste from one of the previous patients here. No one would move it or take it.
days away.....
Mere Days Away
The Solution Is eminent...thanks to THe Great Leader.
now how to prove the Regime wanted to inspire a Panic..prior to the Election..?
Did they follow protocol when cleaning up the vomit outside the Liberian family’s apartment? Just wonderin’.
“Did they follow protocol when cleaning up the vomit outside the Liberian familys apartment?”
The most recently hired minimum wage apartment complex flunky got that job.
In Africa they throw the waste into a nearby 55 gallon drum and burn it. Here I suspect we’ll have to get approval from the EPA for an open fire and Union contracts to transport the waste as well as buy carbon offsets to atone for the shrinking ice caps caused by burning the deadly bugs. Political correctness is all fun and games until folks start dying.
Once vomited onto the sidewalk the virus's hours are numbered. They can infect but most likely they will die first.
Hospitals used to have incinerators until some Dweebs outlawed them.
How about back where it came from.
Or an under the table illegal.
This virus in past studies seems to survive just fine on surfaces for a little over 20 days in some instances.
If the surfaces stay moist.
